Second Skin: Inside TTSWTRS’ Skin Couture TTSWTRS’ Skin Couture collection shows that what matters is not just the garment, but the emotion it evokes — how clothing becomes a gentle instrument of perception, connecting a person with their body and memories. Continuing the brand’s exploration of nudity, memory, and the body — not as an object, but as an emotional landscape — Skin Couture moves between intimacy and identity. Founded in Kyiv in 2013 by Anna Osmekhina (@asmekhina) as a collaborative art project, the Ukrainian label has grown into an internationally recognised brand with a distinctive visual language. Short for “tattoo sweaters,” TTSWTRS draws on tattoo culture, transforming garments into a second skin. Graphic prints and minimalist silhouettes make the human form a canvas for artistic expression. The collection centres on body-hugging shapes that trace natural lines, paired with prints that echo bare skin in its raw, uninhibited state.
