"In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might Beware my power--Green Lantern's light!". Peace and Love everyone. I hope everybody is good and well. I had to illustrate this😅. I was inspired by the series, Lanterns which is based on the Green Lantern Corps. The series is primarily focused on Hal Jordan and John Stewart who is Hal's new recruit who are investigating a murder in Nebraska. I love this series, I love the grounded tone and I love the whole true Detective vibes. I will say is this episode 3 is one of the best episodes as it is focused on John Stewart's origin story which tackled serious themes such as race similar to his comic origin story. If you haven't seen Lanterns, I highly recommend it @greenlantern #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign #vectorart #fanart #digitalillustration #digitalart #artistoninstagram #blackart #blackartist #comicart #dccomics #greenlantern #aaronpierre #lanterns #comicbook #blerd #johnstewart ##johnstewartgreenlantern #haljordan #haljordanandthegreenlanterncorps #Lanterns by @dm.media1997

The 3 Mikes. #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign #vectorart #fanart #digitalillustration #digitalart #80s #90s #blackart #miketyson #michaeljackson #michaeljordan #blackartist #art by @dm.media1997

Peace and Love everyone. I hope everybody is good and well. After so many years, I have finally figured out a way to illustrate this piece. This is an illustration of the 3 Mikes: Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson, 3 legends that shook the world from the 80s till the 90s. I was heavily inspired by The Notorious B.I.G's verse on the 1997 song, Victory which goes "brawl nights, I perform like Mike Anyone, Tyson, Jordan, Jackson, Action, pack guns, ridiculous". Coming up with this concept was a mission but finally delivered 😅. #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign #vectorart #fanart #digitalillustration #digitalart #80s #90s #blackart #miketyson #timelapse #michaeljackson #michaeljordan #blackartist #chicagobulls #adobephotoshop #mj #kingofpop by @dm.media1997

Peace and Love everyone. I hope everybody is good and well. Few days ago, I came across a lot of illustrations that are unfinished which I'm thinking of completing them. One of those illustrations was of @thejacksons. For this illustration, I was heavily inspired by The Triumph album which was released on the 26th of September 1980. It is one of my favorite albums. That album was and still is a masterpiece. #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign #vectorart #fanart #digitalillustration #digitalart #artistoninstagram #80s #thejacksons #blackart #visualart #art #music #timelapse by @dm.media1997

🎶Zwakala kaneno, Come to me Zwakala kaneno
Come to me🎶😩. Love that song. Peace and Love everyone. I hope everybody is good and well. With this illustration, I decided to show appreciation to one of South Africa's legendary bands, Stimela which was formed in 1970. I was introduced to this band through a show called Zone 14 which played on SABC 1 which aired on the 7th of November 2005 #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign #vectorart #fanart #digitalillustration #digitalart #artistoninstagram #blackart #mzansi #southafrica #southafricanart #southafricanmusic #80s #70s by @dm.media1997

Peace and Love everyone. I hope everybody is good and well. To those that know me, they will tell you, how much I LOVE martial arts movies. So this weekend, I had a martial arts movie marathon where I was watching some of my favorite martial arts movies and one of the movies I was watching was Once Upon A Time in China 2 starring @jetli. It is still one my favorites in the Once Upon a Time In China film series. This inspired me to illustrate this artwork. #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign #vectorart #fanart #digitalillustration #digitalart #martialarts #jetli #artistoninstagram #graphicdesigner #visualart #onceuponatimeinchina by @dm.media1997
