Sometimes life can LIFE the heck out you and leave you breathless…
But we must keep GOING. That’s what we’ve done with the lemons from this Flood....MOVE FORWARD!

#feelinggrateful #feelingblessed
Catch this very compelling capture of our horrific loss of business and the anxiety we’ve faced from the flood.
My whole heart’s full of gratefulness & a huge THANK YOU goes to:
@lexisutter @nbcchicago
Who have been gracious to share our story. Our having to FORCE CLOSE, while we are unable to make sales ., replace damaged/loss equipment & product in our shop has been an upside financial burden. Nevertheless., we will prevail and continue to work night and day to restore the shoppe in hopes of opening 10-12 days out. Your continued support., show of love via texts, DMS, online orders and donations has helped us not only recover financial loss & neglect by the landlord and insurance company.., but has given us the 2nd wind beneath our sails to KEEP moving forward🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

We are so grateful to each and every one of you. We will REOPEN hopefully soon🙏🏽

Find the #linkinourbio for more deets on the GoFundMe page., this great feature from Lexi @nbcnews and more… stay safe & warm until we can meet in person again…
❤️
THANK YOU🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

#respiratoryhealth
W/Aun’TEA Dee…
Mullein has become a highly demanding herb. But it’s been a star with us for well over a decade. Here, are a few more stars in our AMAZING- Breathe Easy™️ Brew.
ALL IN HOUSE. SNAG them as little as by the gram or the ounce!
Smokers? Asthmatic?
Here’s some great herbs to assist with respiratory relief. As a PREVIOUS Asthmatic myself, this brew is a basic staple in my daily tea consumption. And it doesn’t just provide relief… its DELICIOUS
🌾🪴🌿
•Mullein (Verbascum thapsus): Acts as a gentle expectorant and demulcent, helping to open airways, soothe inflammation, and loosen stuck mucus.
🌿🪴🌾
•Horehound (Marrubium vulgare): Traditionally used to help stimulate a productive cough to clear out heavy phlegm.
🌾🪴🌿
•Wild Cherry Bark (Prunus serotina): Known for its ability to calm spasms, relax the respiratory muscles, and quiet an overactive, hacking cough.
🌿🪴🌾
•Plantain (Plantago major): Acts as a soothing ‘natural bandage’ that cools irritation and provides moisture to dry, irritated mucus linings.
🌾🪴🌿
Swing by the Apothecary for a Fresh Cup or grab a few herbs to create your own Lund supporting brew…

If you haven't been to @dmapothecary_chicago's new location (5430 N. Broadway) yet, you really owe it to yourself to swing by and check it out.

Regulars at our farmers markets and festivals, Deirdre and her son Matthew, our fave mom-son duo, recently moved from Sheridan to Broadway and the new space looks, smells, and feels stunning.

Deirdre is sort of like a chemical genius. Teas, spices, soaps, butters, balms, oils, waxes, and candles are just the beginning. All handmade in the shop. You can fall into quite the rabbit hole here, especially if you like great scents and refreshing drinks.

Thank you Deirdre for everything you do to be Edgewater's natural healer and hype mom! taken in DMAPothercary•CHICAGO by @dmapothecary_chicago
