Turnip at the final Edgewater Monday Market of 2026 (before we peas out for the year) Tomorrow! Monday 9/28! 3pm-7pm. Broadway & Thorndale. Celebrate the end of our outdoor market season. It's a bittersweet day for our team, our neighbors, and our market vendors. Swing by to pick up your dinner, sides, sauces, or accoutrements for your Monday Night Football BBQ or couch party. Support our favorite local vendors, regional farmers, and small businesses for the last time in 2026. Fresh produce, baked goods, meats, prepared meals, desserts, refreshments, sauces, oils, artisanal goods, snacks, and more. Plus music from local sax legend Beau Barry starting around 4pm. Glowsticks and flashlights optional, because it'll probably be kind of dark for the last hour or so of the market. Let's wrap it up and get home and watch some MNF.

It's Networking Season! We've got a ton of awesome business networking events coming up this fall. 💼🍸🗣🤝 Looking to get your foot in the door with the local business community? Looking for prospective clients, partners, or vendors? Maybe you're job seeking? Maybe you're hiring? Or maybe you're just looking to meet fellow Edgewater business owners, managers, professionals, and entrepreneurs? Whether you're a current chamber member, prospective one, or brand new to our community, networking events are the best great way to get to know our organization, our people, and the local businesses we represent. Most of our networking events have no formal program, sales pitches, or forced interactions. Just a casual hangout over breakfast and/or evening drinks, hosted at great local bars, restaurants, cafes, or event spaces, that we love to support. We also have some great multi-chamber networking events coming up this fall which take place in other neighborhoods and follow a slightly different format. Yes! Edgewater Monday Market is OPEN on Labor Day! That's right. Tomorrow. 3pm-7pm Broadway & Thorndale. Get your last minute Labor Day barbecue fixings like meats, sauces, and baked goods, or stock up on veggies and produce. Or maybe you just want to come hang out and grab dinner at the coolest Labor Day farmers market on the North Side. Send off summer the right way! Can't make it to the Monday Market most work weeks? Well, this is your chance to hit us up on a long holiday weekend and see what all the fuss is about! We'll have live music AND a chefs demo (freeeeee samples) starting around 4pm. If you haven't been to @dmapothecary_chicago's new location (5430 N. Broadway) yet, you really owe it to yourself to swing by and check it out. Regulars at our farmers markets and festivals, Deirdre and her son Matthew, our fave mom-son duo, recently moved from Sheridan to Broadway and the new space looks, smells, and feels stunning. Deirdre is sort of like a chemical genius. Teas, spices, soaps, butters, balms, oils, waxes, and candles are just the beginning. All handmade in the shop. You can fall into quite the rabbit hole here, especially if you like great scents and refreshing drinks. Thank you Deirdre for everything you do to be Edgewater's natural healer and hype mom!

Thank you everyone for an amazing, magical, heartwarming weekend of music, food, and community. The second annual Edgewater Music Fest was everything we had hoped it would be, and more! It was so special to our local business community and our small organization to see tens of thousands of people from near and far coming out to support independent music, small businesses, and local non-profit orgs. We love all of you from the bottom of our hearts. We hope to see you at the next Edgewater Music Fest and our other programs and events throughout the year. It's gonna be a very special Monday Market, as we wrap up the dog days of summer and head into our last few weeks of farmers market season. This week we have one of our absolute favorite guests making an appearance at our Chef's Table! Catch Chef Lisa Counts of the @the_chopping_block starting at 4pm for a demo and free samples. She always blows our mind and we always walk away from her demos feeling, smarter, inspired, and extra hungry. We also have sweet tunes from Pierce Crask. That's in addition to 30+ food vendors, at Chicago's coolest Monday farmers market. 3pm-7pm at Broadway & Thorndale.

Edgewater Music Fest is just TWO WEEKS AWAY! And despite all of the amazing original, local, and indendent artists playing the music stages the weekend of AUG 28-30, EMF isn't just about the music! There's so much more. Edgewater Music Fest is going to be the LARGEST street vendor market ever to take place on Broadway in Edgewater. Art, craft goods, souveniers, apparel, records, food, local brews, desserts, kids activities, you name it! We'll have over 100 retail vendors and several of our favorite local restaurants dishing out everything from corndogs to burgers to tamales to pad thai. Street festivals serve as incubators for local & independent businesses by drawing thousands of new visitors and giving pop-up businesses an opportunity to test products and grow their audience. Many of our favorite brick-and-mortar businesses started off as pop-up vendors at street fests or markets before growing into their permanent locations. Edgewater Music Fest opens at 5pm on FRI 8/28 and Noon on SAT & SUN (8/29-8/30). Stop by for lunch, dinner, fourth meal, the munchies, the second munchies, etc. Come on down and sip, stroll, and shop. Or just pig out and park yourself in one place and watch awesome independent and local bands rock the Victory Honda stage all the way until 10pm each night. Support local business, local artists, and local non-profits! Let's show everyone why it's COOLER NEAR THE LAKE.
