Our competition winners!

Last year we partnered with @youthmusicuk to help raise awareness for their “Rescue the Roots” campaign, that successfully raise £2 million for grassroots music!!

Part of the DMS awareness campaign included running a competition, with a prize of a £2500 vinyl pressing. The lucky winner was the amazing Cardiff based band @musicofjunior

As a thanks for the support, Youth Music invited us to present the best Original Track (Solo) category at their awards ceremony in London, which was won by @coupdekat - we of course couldn’t leave the awards without knowing that track would be on the vinyl format, so we pressed Coupdekat’s album too.

Delivery day has arrived for both of these amazing albums, so we wanted to share them off to you all!

Please head over to their pages and grab a copy of their albums, and support our amazing grassroots music scheme 🙏

Out on 16th October, “Choir Eternal” is the 2nd album by @musicofjunior

Known for crunching guitars, energetic drums and super catchy vocals; this record is a collection of fantastic pop-punk bangers.

Junior opted to upgrade their package to a gatefold sleeve with a reverse board finish, which paired perfectly with their #24 Purple Rain records with Black splatters. What makes it extra cool is the awesome artwork was designed by the band’s drummer Si.

The band really put a lot of thought and care into “Choir Eternal” and it was an honour to be able to support such as great record. A very worthy winner of our competition!

Winning the best Original Track Award we think gives @coupdekat the perfect intro, and proves just how good her music is.

Representing underground indie-pop and vibrant Y2K style with a pop-star attitude; Coupdekat has got those magic ingredients to take her to the top.

Since announcing the album, “Goodbye 2012!” had massive press coverage and had huge hype when it dropped on 7th August.

Coupdekat chose to go with a neon pink vinyl to match her Y2K style, and we think that artwork really gets across what she is about.

Destined for big things, we recommend grabbing one of these records before they beco by @dmsvinyl

“Bloom” is an absolute corker of an album! The reverse board finished sleeves look amazing, and the choice of vinyl effects couldn’t work better with the art if you tried 👌

Thanks for manufacturing the album with us and good luck with the launch show!
