The new @andybebop & @masalbanduk album ‘Common Primitives’ is out now.

It’s available on all digital platforms, plus CD and three double vinyl variants which all include the first album ‘Tidal Love Numbers’. It was mastered by Andy’s @rideox4official bandmate @mark_gardener_ride at @ox4sound, the artwork is by @mistermarcjones. Photos by @bds1970.

“The greatest strength of ‘Common Primitives’ is that it never becomes predictable. It’s a strange and adventurous album that rewards surrendering to its gentle, psychedelic currents” – @electronicsoundmag

“The whole thing shimmers from start to finish” - @moonbuildingmag

“Inspired in part by Pharoah Sanders, the trio build layered arrangements from instinctive performances. The result is an absorbing journey that rewards close listening” - @normanrecs

“The combination of glimmering harp, chiming guitar chords and dreamy synths works especially well” - @uncut_magazine

“A journey into other dimensions where the breath of the instruments unfolds in all its fullness” - @rockerilla

“A post-rock shamanic trance where buried emotions, metaphysical vertigo and spatial hypnosis mix in a grandiose album, whose only flaws seem to have been added to leave a human trace… a sublime and great musical moment of the year” - @soundofviolencethemedia

Buy or listen to it from the link in bio.

ICYMI @theearlyyears have released a new version of their song ‘The River’. The HEX Edit is out now on all digital platforms.

This version is more atmospheric and electronic than the one on ‘Modern Moonlight’ and the name comes from the fact the drum pattern was inspired by Radiohead’s ‘Burn The Witch’.

“The song itself was influenced by Dennis Wilson’s solo album ‘Pacific Ocean Blue’,” adds the band’s Roger Mackin. “As well as the Roland TR-808, which is an iconic bit of kit.”

‘Modern Moonlight’ is out now and CD and Neon Yellow vinyl versions are back in stock on @bandcamp for #bandcampfriday.

The Early Years head out on a co-headline tour with their @soniccathedral labelmates @sennenuk next month.

They play the following dates:

November 14 - @thehollowaynorwich - Norwich
November 15 - @justdroppedin - Coventry
November 16 - @belgravemusichall - Leeds
November 17 - @thesociallondon - London
November 18 - @thesociallondon - London

I’ve got some pretty exciting news

@roughtradelpl will be stocking my upcoming EP Songs of Devotion, including a limited run of eco-mix blue vinyl, available to pre-order exclusively on their website now

Eco-mix is made from recycled materials, factory cut offs and leftover colour pellets, meaning every vinyl is a unique colour!

I can’t wait to play the upstairs space at Rough Trade for my headline release show on the 15th October, the eve of the album’s release

It is so special to hold this project in its entirety in my hands, a culmination of a year’s experiences and questions and songs. I can’t wait to show it to you, in full, very soon

Very special thanks to @wipeoutmusic and @mellowtoneclub for all the help making this happen and the team at @roughtradelpl

Come and hear the album live, tickets in my bio!

15th October, Rough Trade , Liverpool
16th October, @cafe9live, Sheffield
