Def not my best photo, but I have no idea how to beat this anymore. It’s been 5 years. 5 years of Prednisone, countless unhelpful and expensive doctors, losing the ability to walk, read, eat, draw, talk, over and over with no answers. The prednisone hardly works anymore and I have no idea how to fix this still in the van alone. Docs are uncaring at best and I’m trying to get to somewhere that can help and afford insurance…I wish I could be my self again but I’d settle for functioning. It’s really hard for me to ask for help but anything would be appreciated. My PayPal/Zelle: amatus8@gmail.com ❤️🙏🌹 by @doc_matus

That water bottle feeling a little bare? Need to spruce up that bumper? Never fear, I gotcha covered, literally! Get yer sticks for Route 66, or wherever else you endeavor to travel! Matus.bigcartel.com ❤️‍🔥 by @doc_matus

The 5th and (final)? Battle vest in progress. This time in black. Every patch hand painted and hand sewn. The biggest labor of love for the bands that give me the energy to keep going. Huge thanks to Doug Johnson for such an incredible, amazingly iconic, and beautifully difficult image for @judaspriest 🙏🙏🙏 #judaspriest #heavymetal #battlevest #couture #levis by @doc_matus

I’ve been toiling away in ‘ol Van-syl-vania on my (5th)? And possibly last battle vest. I’ve been studying the old masters and hand painting (and soon to be sacrificing blood to the hand-sewing gods) on this project. This is only the first round of patches but through such hard times as I’ve been trying to navigate, it gives me purpose and strength to reconnect with it all and make another piece of armor. #heavymetal #battlevest #couture by @doc_matus

A talisman, a memorial, a piece of armor, a bond of kinship, a mark of beauty, a proof of life. Whatever tattoos mean to you, I’d love to make you one. Message me if you’re interested. ❤️‍🔥 come hang out in Santa Fe! by @doc_matus

Southwest, heavy metal, cowboy, biker, outlaw, high fantasy, nature nerdery, bold, tough, sweet spirited, but not too serious. I miss tattooing so I’m working on getting back to it again in Santa Fe. Let me know if you are interested and stay tuned! I’d love to make something for ya. 🙏❤️🌹🌶️🪶 by @doc_matus

Stoked to show y’all these extremely fun splits with @ogmikegiant 🪶. He’s always been a hero of mine, ever since I bought the black & white issue from @juxtapozmag It literally changed my life, and I studied that thing like it was my bible. I’m grateful for the opportunity to illustrate something along side this legend. I definitely have a long way to go to catch up, but it’s such a joy to keep running so that maybe one day I can become a king fu master also. Posters coming soon. Cheers ❤️🙏🌹 #illustration #newmexico by @doc_matus
