Gaby’s first proper downwind canoe run! 🎉 Light Kihei conditions but still some great glides. She’s got the forward lean dialed. 🤩 Can’t wait to see her lean back in some spicier conditions 🤙

3 hours of pumping was a decent leg workout, but nice to get a few minutes of upper body at the end too 😂

What an epic 3 weekends of downwind foil racing. Definitely had its ups and downs, but beyond stoked with how it all turned out! Started with a snapped tail on the start line of @wetfeet_hawaii @voyager_foiler ADz race, but then got 2nd in my age group in @paddleimua, @molokaiholokai M2M, and @molokai2oahu M2O! Overall 2nd in age group (40-44) for Koa Kai race series!

Thanks to my sponsor (wife) @arellano.naira for making this all possible! The hardest part of this sport for a dad and husband is getting to the start line, and she makes that happen 😎

Stoked to be able to ride @f4foils @f4foilswing Hammerhead 585 and SR mast for most of the races, and a last minute switch to 685 Orca saved my M2O in brutal conditions. And my @kalamaperformance Gator 🐊 was the board for it all!

Excited to do it all again next year if possible! Lots of learning and training to come 📖 💪 by @docfoil
