You were iconic in every sense of the word. The kind of person who walked into a room and changed the entire energy. But what made you truly extraordinary was how deeply you loved. You loved me and Oscar with a fierceness and tenderness that changed us. You taught me what it means to love people exactly as they are, without conditions or expectations.

Thank you for welcoming us into your village, for making space for us in your world. @naomisheltondc , thank you for bringing us together, it’s something I’ll treasure forever.

@thefavoriteerica, you had this incredible ability to make everyone feel like they were the most special person in the room. You made us all feel seen, loved, chosen. I feel so lucky to have experienced sisterhood with you.

We always said we’d stand on couches together in every lifetime. I’m holding onto that promise. One day, I’ll meet you there with that bottle of champagne, and we’ll celebrate again.

Until then, I’m carrying you with me—in every moment of joy, every act of unconditional love, every time I choose to see people for who they truly are.

Year 8. To be loved by such a generous and accepting partner is something I wish for everyone. This was a year of life’s highs and some very low lows and you held my hand through all of it. Kept us steady, supported and wrapped in love.

Thank you for never asking me to be anyone different than who I am. For loving me, our son, our family and all the chosen family that I constantly add to our life. ☺️
