Oh no honey! I burned the acne cleanser again! And right before the guests arrived…

Before we all freak out about the recent news regarding benzene and benzoyl peroxide washes, I think we need to take a second and calm down. First I think we need to make sure Valisure’s findings are accurate and reproducible. This was not a peer reviewed study and I really don’t feel I trust these findings. Next we need to realize that in order to arrive at the results, the benzoyl peroxide washes needed to be left at 158 degrees for 16 or more hours. Don’t leave your wash in a hot car and don’t cook it in your oven. I for one plan to continue to use benzoyl peroxide wash as it has been amazing for my acne.

Doublechin out…

The one thing guaranteed when dad brings their child to the visit is that they’ll reply “I don’t know” to every question including which products they use, what medications they are on and what allergies they have. They also will likely call or video chat their wife at home or work and make them answer your questions…

Ah nailed it. With all the pressing issues in this country, the most important is clearly making sure patient care gets hurt even more. At least we have affordable gas…
