To our knowledge, of the nine assassins, only one of them worked with conspirators-John Wilkes Booth. Among his band of loyalists to the South was David Harold , who will be played by @marshaaaaaaalllll of @ppumusicaltheatre. Come watch this talented young man play this role and numerous others at The Greer August 20-23. @culturaltrust @cbspittsburgh @onstagepittsburgh @tablemagazine_westernpa taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by @doctuhmistuh

When Assassins premiered off-Broadway. It was panned by most critics. It then went to the West End in London, where they tinkered with the show a bit. Director Sam Mendes said something was missing.Sondheim and Weidman realized that it was a song for the populace-how the people react to the loss of their leader. They added “Something Just Broke.” The show was fixed and now considered by many a “near perfect” work of musical theatre. @michaelaeve_ will be featured in this stirring song with a voice that will pull at every heartstring. Tickets going fast-trustarts.org. @culturaltrust @pghartscouncil @pghcitypaper @triblive taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by @doctuhmistuh
