You know one of my favourite things about the ocean? Everytime I slip beneath the surface, I remember that all the oceans are connected - it is all one. We are all one.

There are no divisions except imaginary man-made borders, and separations born of ego. Beneath the surface, there are glimpses of the oneness.

Just peeking up from my favourite world below 🌊 to this beautiful messy world above 🍃🌎

Something about being in the ocean cleanses everything unnecessary away - the intrusive thoughts, the overwhelming emotions, the sweeping conditionings. All washed away, she teaches you to simply be. .

Forget dragons. We found the ones that live underwater.

Mantas are our kind of dragons. They don’t breathe fire. They fly through the ocean, glide over your head and sometimes circle back just to have another look at you. They’re smart, curious and ridiculously graceful. Every dive with them feels like you’ve wandered into another world.

We go scuba diving looking for these ocean dragons because there is never a dull moment when mantas are around. One second they’re cruising past you, the next they’re performing effortless loops right above your head. We’re completely in love with them. If dragons had chosen the ocean as their home, we’re pretty sure they’d look a lot like mantas.

The ocean teaches you how to slow down!

Watch the sunset. Float a little longer. Follow an octopus without checking the time. Get lost over a coral reef. Remember that not every moment needs to be productive.
Maybe that’s why we keep coming back to the Maldives.

PURE MAGIC!

We knew we were heading to manta bay, but nothing prepares you for the feeling of seeing them in real life. The size, the movement, the way they glide straight toward you and disappear into the blue feels unreal. More and more kept arriving until we completely lost count. Over 30 mantas, all moving around us in complete silence. Pure magic. Mantas really are some of the most beautiful creatures in the ocean.

Call them the quiet aliens of the ocean, the octopus.
Did you know with their curious minds they can solve problems, open jars, and remember faces. They move with soft precision, shifting shape and color like living water. Nothing about them feels familiar.
No bones, no fixed form, no obvious rules.

They slip through gaps, disappear in plain sight, and watch you as much as you watch them.Strange, yes.
But also gentle in a way that feels almost polite.

You don’t just see an octopus. You meet it.

And if you stay still long enough, it might just decide you’re interesting too. ;)
