Because of you, we raised $400 for Operation Paws for Homes yesterday.

That brings this year’s Pups & Poses total to $10,212 for local rescues and nonprofits. We set out to reach $10,000, and you got us past it. Thank you to everyone who showed up, rolled out a mat, and spent the morning with six very good foster pups.

Thank you to Operation Paws for Homes and their foster families for bringing the dogs, and to Steinhardt Brewing Co. for hosting us again.

If you missed this one, we’re doing it again with OPH:

PUPS & POSES · Operation Paws for Homes
Sunday, Nov. 22 · 11:00 AM · Steinhardt Brewing Company
$25 adults · $10 kids under 11 · Bring a mat
All but $5 of every fee goes straight to the rescue.

Pups & Poses is back for Operation Paws for Homes: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 11:00 AM

Our next Pups & Poses class at Steinhardt Brewing Companybenefits Operation Paws for Homes, and it’s likely to sell out. The last time we held a class for them, 76 of you showed up and raised over $1,500 for this rescue. Please register early to save your spot.

This year alone, your attendance at Pups & Poses has raised $9,362 (almost $10,000) for local rescues and nonprofits. Thank you.

A little about OPH: they’re a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue that pulls dogs from overcrowded rural shelters, mostly in the Carolinas and Virginia, where many dogs are euthanized within days of arriving. They don’t have a shelter building. Every dog lives with a foster family until adoption, so fosters get to know each dog before it’s matched with a home. OPH places dogs across Maryland, Virginia, DC, and southern Pennsylvania. It gets no government funding, so events like this one directly support their work.

The class is beginner-friendly yoga with adoptable pups, followed by time to hang out and grab a drink.

$25 adults, $10 kids under 11. All but $5 of every class fee goes straight to the rescue. Bring a mat.

If you missed this one, our next class is Sunday, Oct. 4 at 11:00 AM, benefiting Operation Paws for Homes at Steinhardt Brewing Company. This rescue has a huge following, and our July class for them filled up fast with 76 people, so please register early to save your spot.
