OK...so this happened today! 🍾🎉🥂 I actually bought a HOME! Not a house but a home…MY home! It’s the first time I have been able to say that word in 19 months since the Palisades fire. I could not be more pleased! Out of bad things eventually come good things and that happened today! AND… it’s FULLY furnished, and supplied, and I am want for NOTHING…it even has wrapping paper! The house actually had my name on it with a can of Campbell’s soup that I found in the kitchen cabinet! 🥫More photos to follow...🏡🎉🙌 by @dogladyla

OK...I haven't posted for a while but this showed up on my doorstep and it made me smile! I actually worked very hard for this accomplishment, along with Lynn Hylen Miller and Carol Ross, and I am proud, proud, proud & more proud! At last… some really great news for the Palisades! A dedication ceremony was held on May 9 for the new Temescal Canyon Dog Park, with a wonderful turnout from many of the people and community members who helped make it happen — along with plenty of adorable dogs. New trees were planted, and there was an atmosphere of joy, hope, and positive energy that the Palisades really needed.

This project has been over 30 years in the making, and Leslie says 40 years! It did not come easy. Leslie Campbell co-spearheaded the effort alongside Lynn Hylen Miller and Carol Ross along with many other dedicated community members who spent years navigating meetings, red tape, delays, and community outreach to help bring the dog park to life. Leslie Campbell also launched a petition supporting the project that gathered over 4000 signatures

The dog park had finally received approval before the Palisades fire, but the disaster created additional delays just as the community was preparing to celebrate the victory.

Now, after decades of persistence, the Palisades is finally getting this long-awaited gathering place for both people and their dogs. The new dog park is expected to open by the end of 2026 — and honestly, there could not be a better time for something this joyful. Palisades we got this!

This is long overdue...but I have to share what was an unforgettable day. I was in LA for a hot (literally) minute, a few weeks ago, to participate in a magical reunion with the entire Palisades community. I got to see my dear friends, clients and associates that once shared our special slice of Paradise! As an added bonus...NO SHIT, my TT friend and neighbor (and reincarnation of Jim Morrison), Andrew Cole, rocked the house with THE Doors Robby Krieger, and band, and every Doors song you’ve ever known and love. Turns out Robby went to Pali High where we held the event! Soooo great to see my peeps, whom I dearly miss while going down my music Memory Lane. Twas a perfect day in LA! To all my friends that I did not get to see, it was simply a timing and logistics problem…see you next time! Thank you @pacpalicc @iamandrewcole @officialrobbykrieger (PS. I took all these pics too. We are still here. Still connected.

Not property lines. Not paperwork.
People. Community. History.

158 housedholds are not asking for anything extraordinary — just the chance to work together to get all the residents home as soon as possible.
