His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, honoured the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi for securing first place in the Excellence Award category, alongside the Centres of Excellence programme winning the Strategic Impact Initiative Award within the Collaborative Initiatives Award category, in recognition of its institutional excellence and efforts in developing a smarter, more efficient, and proactive healthcare ecosystem while enhancing quality of life across the Emirate.

حصدت دائرة الصحة – أبوظبي المركز الأول ضمن جوائز أبوظبي للأداء الحكومي المتميز، إلى جانب جائزة مبادرة الأثر الاستراتيجي ضمن فئة المبادرات المشتركة، في إنجاز يعكس تكامل الجهود الحكومية وتحقيق أثر ملموس في حياة المجتمع.

ويجسد هذا التكريم إنجازات القطاع الصحي في الإمارة، من تعزيز الوقاية والكشف المبكر، إلى تطوير مراكز التميز والرعاية التخصصية المتقدمة، بما يدعم بناء منظومة صحية أكثر ذكاءً واستباقية واستدامة نحو مجتمع أكثر صحة.

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi achieved first place in the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance, alongside the Strategic Impact Initiative Award within the Collaborative Initiatives category, in an achievement that reflects integrated government efforts and tangible impact on community wellbeing.

⁨ ⁨ سلطت "مستقبل الصحة”، مبادرة عالمية من أبوظبي" الضوء على ضرورة تعزيز قدرة النظُم الصحية على استشراف المخاطر استباقياً من خلال تسريع التحول للانتقال من نماذج الرعاية الصحية التي تركز على الاستجابة للأمراض بعد حدوثها إلى نماذج رعاية استباقية قائمة على البيانات والتنبؤ بالمخاطر والوقاية منها.
جاء ذلك خلال إحاطة إعلامية استعرضت أبرز المجالات التي تتصدر أجندة قمة مستقبل الصحة في أبوظبي 2026، التي ستُقام خلال الفترة من 20 إلى 22 أكتوبر تحت شعار "نحو نظم صحية تستشعر المخاطر استباقياً"

"Future Health, a Global Initiative by Abu Dhabi" highlighted the need to strengthen health systems' ability to anticipate risks proactively by accelerating the shift from reactive models of care, which respond to disease after it occurs, towards proactive models driven by data, risk prediction and prevention.
This was highlighted during a media briefing that outlined the key areas shaping the agenda of the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit 2026, taking place from 20 to 22 October under the theme: To Sense is to predict.
