Absolutely had to make time for a quick beat while I had a moment for the @theproducerscorner 9th anniversary! It's amazing how time flies by, 9 years is crazy. It's a phenomenal community of producers and amazing people. Get involved if you can. Much love to my brothers Stress and Rocko for all the amazing work they do 🙏

Don't get too used to me posting often lol I only had time for this one take and finding time to sit and record is a challenge. Stay tuned. Stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly stay nerdy out there 🤘🤓🤘

People have been coming back asking about lessons, the answer is yes, DM me to inquire if you wanna gets tips from the Superhero Nerd. We'll find a time that works.

Hello, fellow nerds 🤓 taking a moment from the busy schedule of work, going to school, making music, enjoying the experience of life, and just being the superhero nerd i am, to bring some musical love to your pages.

Got a project with my homie whom I 💖 dearly @donotrap in the mixing process, to be released by end of year.

Got another instrumental project with my people at @freethe.entertainment in the works that I'm putting beats aside for.

And a friendly reminder to get off the poison that is social media as much as you can. Go touch grass, read a book, organize with your local people to help overcome the dystopian postindustrial nightmare we are currently in.

Also, f!$% AI, please, don't partake...be human, it's ok to be human, flaws and all.

I'm in love with it 😍 this little guy is perfect for everything i got going on right now. Finally, a proper battery powered (no more double A needed for the KOs), mpc that allows me the workflow I love with the minimalist creativity I prefer, right in my book bag while I'm doing music production workshops, commuting to work and to school, and traveling. I know it's a very crazy time right now, but what we can always do is organize, and be there for those in your community. Stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly stay nerdy out there, forever and always 🤘🤓🤘

Forty-Second Universe - Angels Sing. I love making music, I have since I was a kid. It's expressive, it's therapeutic, and it's a reflection of who we are. I've always enjoyed sharing my techniques with others so that they can take what they want and add it into their own flow. I've always found technique gatekeeping to be a bit weird and off-putting. Share knowledge, build together, love each other. Stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly stay nerdy out there 🤘 🤓 🤘

Forty-Second Universe - Raining Love I. Any movement at it's most pure is about the principles and goals of said movement. We must, as a people, recognize that we have the ability to collect and organize under a banner of unity to make the positive change we wish to see in this country and our world we share. Stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly stay nerdy out there 🤘🤓🤘

Another 40 Second Universe on the KO 🤓 as MF DOOM once wisely said, "study your history, whoever don't I pity the fool like Mr. T".

It's just another day in paradise, we live in a fascinating world. We have things like the octopus, elephant, and spider at the same time we have advanced tech, satellites in space, planes in the air. It's a sci-fi fantasy world. We have to be grateful for what we have, and organize to preserve it. Stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly stay nerdy out there 🤘🤓🤘

Threw on the mask to remind us who the superhero nerd is lol it's been a while since I've put it on due to watching my health and the lack of airflow under the mask, but I'm DokBrass, and the urge to suit up was too much to bear 😅

Resampling some of my favorite tunes with the @teenageengineering KO (PO33) is such a good time! The minimalist approach of these 40-second universes really brings out an intentional creativity.

Let's not forget that while we must always stay positive, we have to hold people accountable, we have to hold systems accountable. Stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly stay nerdy out there 🤘 🤓 🤘

A wonderful edit made by @leonelnotmessi of our get-together memorial for Yume. Great send-off. While I've been getting a lot of thanks for organizing this, I'd like to take a moment to recognize that it ain't just me. This couldn't have happened without people coming together. @thesisofalltrades who brought the pictures and Yume's ashes, @balakaybeats who brought a SP404 and the SD card with Yume's last set, @bigchefdog for bringing the table, and here @leonelnotmessi for making something to remember the event with. If credit is to be given to me for "spearheading" it, then I'm going to remind us, it's WE, not me. I did the best I could, and was happy to do it. I'd do it for all of you, because I love you all. We are a family of humans, a community, and we need to be there for each other and always remember, it's not just one person, it's all of us.

Yesterday was perfect. Thank you so much to everyone who came through. It was beautiful to see such important faces, some of which I hadn't seen for a LONG time, like 5 years. It brought a tear or two to my eye. I definitely got a little emotional, lol.

We had a SD card of the last set he played that we ran on the 404, it was like he was playing for us.

Yume was someone special. Those who knew him, knew the community-focused, caring, fighter for the people, who was all about the love of music, expression, and true hiphop energy. He was a revolutionary. I wouldn't know anyone in this photo if it wasn't for him and I meeting 9 years ago. I have been blessed. And so was anyone who got to spend time with him.

His death was a tragedy, both in how it went down and the fact that he was 36, too young. Be there for your people. Seriously. BE THERE. Please. If there's anything we can learn, it's that we can always be more present for ourselves and those in our lives. Life is a gift. Truly. Enjoy the present.

We lost a good dude today. When I heard the news from his mother, I traveled over 6 hours (I was in Catskill visiting a friendl) yesterday, Sunday, to say goodbye. I'm glad I did, because this morning he transitioned. If you knew him, come gather next Friday with us. We'll jam, hang, tell stories, and remember Yume for the amazing person he was. by @dokbrass

The Journey of the Masked Finger Drummer

Now released on my newly created Bandcamp. I'll be re-releasing older projects (that have been taken off of the DSP) as well as all new music going forward. With life transitions as they can be, health bills, etc. and in maintaining my integrity on being public with my music on patreon, I must admit I am very reliant on the support from the fans of my musical and educational work through these kinds of platforms. Times get dire, and if I've made a positive impact on you in any way over these many years, I hope you can find some pocket change and throw it towards your favorite superhero nerd 🤘🤓🤘 as always, stay positive, stay humble, and most importantly, stay nerdy out there!

Links to Bandcamp and Patreon in the bio. Love y'all
