Time to bust out the most glorious autumnal materials and make some fabric pumpkins. The one with the stick poking out of it is what inspired me to make my own. It’s been in my family for ages but we only ever had the one and this year I finally decided to make some friends for it. I was always nuts about this harvest fabric (kinda giving Tuscan wine mom kitchen) and wondered if I could find something similar but I ended up finding that + more. My favorite thing about these is that they don’t scream Halloween like a lot of our other decor so they feel absolutely correct for Sept-December when they’ll get replaced with the winter stuff! After all, the leaves don’t really start full turning until November. Which fabric should I use next? Also since the stick used in the original inspo pumpkin bugged me so much
I used a toilet paper roll I unwrapped and re-twisted, adding the stem design with alcohol ink pens lol sorry it just came out exactly right and deserves its own moment 🎃

Bi+ disabled individuals who are C🅾️VID Realists and chronically ill are still being treated as ❌invisible❌ within the LGBTQ+ community if you support bi visibility you need to support the forgotten in this still-ongoing pandemic.

We want safe spaces and community just like everyone else. Instead we are told to just stay home if we aren’t “comfortable” breathing unsafe air. As if that’s a fair choice to make. Accessibility does not just begin and end with curb cuts. They are important, but for a community perpetually rebuilding from the effects of the AIDS epidemic, it makes exactly zero sense that queer immunocompromised people are begging for allies and instead just get ignored and literally erased. Invisible. Solidarity is suicide prevention. I’ve never been to a pride event. I feel like a fraud constantly because I can’t date. It’s too dangerous. Imagine being rejected by ALL genders. I’m so tired of posting about this. I got this dress for like 10 bucks and I had to make it everyone’s business. I also might be obsessed with making these scrolling post 🤩🌹Finally a format I can really get behind! I can’t believe summer is almost over. The real epidemic is end-stage capitalism making deeply terrible people into lil eugenicist yappers. Don’t let these hacks fool you into thinking they’re more economically vital. The most comfortable “costume” ever…I don’t think I ever posted this one to the main because it was for last year’s @3ofuspod Halloween Party and I still hadn’t finished the green velvet dress yet lol. I think I made a pretty convincing Gillian! Watching the reviews for Practical Magic 2 coming in, knowing I have to wait until it comes out on streaming for health reasons (of course!) and I gotta admit I’m a lil jealous. I have a question 🙋🏼‍♀️ What is a “sickfluencer”?

•Seems to me, most chronically ill folks with a platform are trying to influence people to NOT be one of us, by taking preventative steps like masking to avoid virus that can lead to chronic life-ruining symptoms.

• Is that…is that sickfluencing? Or is it actually de-influencing the normalization of repeat infections and the stigmatization of chronically ill lives?

I’m so tired of these hit pieces on chronically ill and disabled young women. I’m tired of anti-trans rhetoric being lumped along with it (LEAVE THEM ALONE)…I’m just tired. I also hate that there are disabled folks who can mask up but have chosen not to. You are traitors and I fundamentally don’t understand you. You know what ELSE I hate? Masking. I hate how it looks, i hate the smell, i hate the way they make my jaw hurt, i hate them but guess what. I STILL WEAR ONE in any and all risky situations. I can’t afford to get sicker than i already am. Getting sick is expensive. If you consider yourself anti fascist and anti capitalist but you won’t mask up to lower the spread then I hate to break it to you…but you are the faker. Anyway I hope everyone is having the day they deserve! I love disabled people, I love trans people, I love migrants, and black and brown people, i love queer people, I love kids even though I will not be having my own- which is why I’m so passionate about keeping society from getting sicker than we already are. It’s love.
