Like all the best things, Colours of Love was birthed in pure inspiration; an ‘aha’ asking to be brought to life. It started in a true celebration of love. 10 years ago today, Guinevere and Lizz got married in Thailand with the help of their friends and family. They’d been dreaming of creating a gathering where artists, healers, performers, free-thinkers, facilitators, designers, entrepreneurs could shine and share their hearts and dreams. That’s when the lightbulb went off: what if they combined this dream with getting married? “If we test drive the festival for our wedding, at least people will come!” 🤪In March 2016, they arrived in Koh Phangan with two weeks to make it happen. With the hands and hearts of many, something extraordinary unfolded. A week of love with their soul vow ceremony at the centre; to be witnessed in their love AND set off a love-bomb so radiant it would ripple into the universe forever more. 222 invited guests became nearly 300. That love bomb went off in every way they’d dreamed. Most asked question: “What did you put in the punch?!” Answer: “Nothing… just LOVE!” Lizz and Guinevere always said ‘our love is bigger than us’. Although they separated years later, Colours of Love was one of the reasons they came together. It was their soul’s mission, no matter what. And that was just the beginning.
