This has been a goal of mine since 2024, very unexpected!
I’ve been getting killed with volume from @thpstrength but it’s payed off. Do your general work, especially the tempo runs! I want to give special thanks to @thepursuitofdunking for really helping me through training this year. I was coming into the year pretty banged up physically and emotionally. He went above and beyond for me as a coach, which I will forever be grateful for. by @domidunks

I weighed myself at 195lbs after, so 1.67 times bodyweight. I previously hit 305lbs at 192lbs which was 1.56 times bodyweight, so my relative strength did go up a ton! Thank you again @thepursuitofdunking for helping me with my training so much this year! I train with @thpstrength by @domidunks

I’ve been training with @thpstrength for the past 3-4 years. This is an update on how my training has been going in the last 3-4 months.

1. I got a personal training session from @ikeepcream, to fix my power clean form. Although my maxes have had to reset, I’m doing my Olympic lifts without spidering for the first time in my training. Highly recommend Josh as a coach.

200 lbs would be 1.2x bodyweight for me.

2. I tested a maximum vertical of 33 inches off both 1ft and 2ft plants. Around a month ago. Since then, I’ve been rehabbing my left knee, and I haven’t jumped over 31 inches in the subsequent month.

3. @johnevans_thp has been programming front squats last cycle and I was able to almost match my all time PR of 240 lbs, but at a lower bodyweight of 168 lbs. Compared to when I weighed 175 lbs last time I tested.

It’s a long journey, but I’m improving still, year over year.

I train with @thpstrength 💪 Thanks to all the coaches @johnevans_thp @isaiahrivera1 @thepursuitofdunking @wperformancetraining @athletic.doc for helping with cleaning up my power clean technique in 2025! Special thanks to my boy @wilvin_chew for giving me some in person coaching and cues that really helped me 🙏. For context I have doubled 215lbs two other times before but I had a lot of early arm bend, my best double with my revamped for was 205lbs. For anyone who is curious here is my peak velocities for all the reps shown:
135lbs: #1 2.52 #2 2.53
155lbs: #1 2.38 #2 2.34
185lbs : #1 2.22 2 2.06
205lbs: 1 2.12 2 1.92
220lbs: 1 2.02 2 1.85 by @domidunks

Dunk struggle, got some decent reps in today between 5v5 games but my hip is still holding me back from truly hitting max effort. Short sessions for a while until this thing clears up. by @domidunks
