due to limited channels and rising freight costs, we are regrettably unable to continue using the eco friendly paper packaging for our takeaway onigiri. until we are able to source a more economic supply for these paper pouches, we will switch to a local plastic carrier for now. we thank you for your understanding and hope to be able to find a solution soon. by @domothreenine

Fillings in onigiris have evolved greatly since the addition of pickled plums in the 12th century, which turned the beloved rice ball into an army ration. Fast-forward to now, and flavours include all types of meats, vegetables, and even melted mozzarella cheese.

We have classics like plum kombu and more modern twists like our 3 treasure. However, we always make sure the filling works in tandem with our delicious Niigata Koshiibuki rice. If you want a little extra, order from our side’s menu and make it a meal!

hey all, we’re introducing some new things to the shop starting today! you’ll be able to order set meals based around your onigiri by adding your choice of our seasonal side dishes. if you wish to order onigiri by itself, that option is still available as well as our bentos are still on offer. there will also be special onigiri flavours and other random specials here and there so keep checking our wall each time you’re in! by @domothreenine
