A YEAR IN THE MAKING… and she’s finally here. 🪽😭✨

I have been carrying this angel photoshoot in my head and heart for over a year. There were so many moments when I wondered if I would ever actually pull it off. Then suddenly, there was Lexi standing on the rocks at Windansea Beach with those wings, glowing in that light, and looking like she had stepped straight out of my imagination. I was absolutely LOSING IT behind the camera. 😭🌊🤍🪽

@dongators KB, my husband, business partner, best friend, and the man who somehow agrees to every wild idea I come up with 😂🤍 Thank you for believing in this before it ever existed, scouting the location, helping with those giant wings, handling the lighting and gear, keeping everything moving, and somehow keeping me sane through all of it. I truly could not have done this without you. 🥹🫶🏼✨

There are events you photograph, and then there are events you get to experience.

PAWmicon was one of those.

Everywhere we turned, there was another smile, another incredible costume, another reminder that our pets really are family. It wasn’t just about cosplay. It was about a community coming together to celebrate the animals that make our lives a little brighter.

We’re incredibly grateful to @hwac and Helen Woodward Animal Center for trusting By ABP as an official event photographer. Being invited to document a day filled with so much creativity, laughter, and heart was an honor we won’t soon forget.

I don’t usually stop to think about where I am in life.

I’m usually too busy planning the next shoot, editing the next gallery, or dreaming about what’s next.

But today made me pause.

These photographs aren’t really about us.

They’re about remembering this chapter.

The chapter where two people with a shared dream decided to build something together.

I have no idea where this story will take us.
