Found my Blind Audition from Season 25 of The Voice back in February 2024. Team Reba forever. The real star is my mom on the sidelines with my sister cheering me on. Lol all glory to God. #thevoice #teamreba #greastestlovestory #lanco #reba by @donnyvanslee

In honor of @nbcthevoice season 30, I thought I’d share just a bts photo I cherish heavily.

To me, the most important thing that happened, was the slew of talented people I came across.
From all over the country, different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
But I knew that these connections would be important and could lead to lifelong colleagues and friends.
I keep in touch with some, some we parted ways, some I never actually got to know fully. But I hold those memories forever.
Sure I get teased a lot about my time on the show, sure I throw it on a poster now and then, but it changed the course of my career.
To all of you, I say thank you. I pray each one of you find your paths full of light and love.
Shout out to you Season 25.

@theresaw2rose has been listening to and covering my music on piano since 2022, and we finally got the chance to meet this past weekend in Ventura, CA, when she asked me to perform at her 50th high school reunion!

She showed me the pier where she used to hang out, her old house just 7 houses from the sand, and the spot where she once shook John Lennon’s hand. Crazyyyy.

Really grateful for moments like this and for the people music brings into my life. Thanks again, Theresa! taken in Ventura, California by @donnyvanslee

A sincere thank you to everyone who spent their time and braved the weather with us last night at @georgiatheatre. I met a lot of you who were celebrating something special, and none of us wanted to leave you empty handed.

Honestly, we had a blast. There was something magical about swapping songs and seeing your faces. It wasn’t the full set or production we wanted, but I promise to be back and give a proper show! See yall down the road. by @donnyvanslee
