This week I have written another article for the Winter issue of a magazine. I love writing for editorials and I hope after I have finished my Master's degree that I will have opportunities to write more, on a global scale.

Anyway, I needed some new pics for upcoming articles and I chose this one.

Featuring Salvia rosmarinus, Rosemary, a wonderful herb containing phenolic compounds responsible for the plants antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions on the body. Rich in vitamins, minerals and flavonoids to support good health.

These constituents have been shown in research to have neuropharmacological properties. Simply, this means it is good for your cognitive health, improving memory, learning, mood and offering neurological protection.

It's also great as a rosemary salt on chips. There, I said it.

Herbal medicine is a type of medicine that uses plant parts, such as leaves, roots, flowers, stems, or seeds, to treat illness, prevent disease, and improve health. Herbal medicines are also known as botanical medicines, phytomedicines, or phytotherapy. To work with the medicinal constituents of plants, drawing from traditional uses to modern day research, is fascinating and rewarding.

I absolutely love being a Medical Herbalist. I feel honoured to support my patients to improved health.

Yesterday I graduated again at Lincoln Cathedral! This time alongside my students, my peers and my colleagues. What a wonderful and very special day 🎓

So, what's next? My focus is my role as a Lecturer, guiding and facilitating our students learning, on the degree course. I love teaching!

Alongside this, I continue to help individuals in my own private practice and I will still be talking and writing and giving our industry a voice ✨ taken in Lincoln Cathedral by @dontsettlepetal

A week since the Rutland Flower Show and what a show it was! I met so many people, I think I had at least a couple of hundred people, over the weekend, listen to me talk about plant medicine and how these plants can be incorporated into their outdoor spaces!

A huge thank you to everyone who has reached out to me since.

Snippets from my talks, to follow along with dates of future events ✨

Thank you to @rutlandflowershow for giving me this opportunity. by @dontsettlepetal

A couple of weeks ago, me and my bestie spent a glorious couple of hours at @inthestixrutland experiencing their sauna, cold plunge and hot tub in their stunning grounds. We are now desperate to spend a weekend here in their glamping domes which are stunnin'. Views are stunning.

Alex and Darren have more of these wellness sessions available to book this summer so keep an eye out for information over on their Instagram page.

Thank you @inthestixrutland 🌿
