✨ Thank you for celebrating with us at Doolin Cave! 🎉

What a special day it was to mark 20 years of Doolin Cave and share our vision for the new Doolin Cave Sculpture Park.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared a story, took part in a workshop or explored the Sculpture Trail Vision Exhibition. It meant so much to celebrate this milestone with our local community and visitors.

We’re grateful to the whole Browne family, the Doolin Cave team inc Kim, Sandra, Oisin & Kirill, Doolin Folklore Group, Dr Robert Kilroy, Brendan Roddy, Frank McCormack, Brendan Egan, and all the local artists, makers and musicians who helped bring the afternoon to life. Thank you to Limerick School of Art & Design and Clare County Council for their support.

And a big thank you to everyone working behind the scenes on sound, catering, marquee setup and the hundred other jobs that it takes to put on an event like this! Thank you.

Join us at Doolin Cave from 1.30pm to 6pm today as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and officially launch our exciting vision for the future Doolin Cave Sculpture Park.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you for a special afternoon celebrating art, heritage, nature and the remarkable landscape that has shaped Doolin Cave.

Please note that cave tours will operate from 10am until 12 noon today, with normal opening hours resuming tomorrow at 10am.

✨ Tomorrow at Doolin Cave: Special Performance by Brendan Egan

We’re excited to welcome Irish artist Brendan Egan to our 20th Anniversary and Sculpture Park Vision Launch tomorrow.

Based in Spanish Point, Co. Clare, Brendan is a full-time lecturer at Limerick School of Art and Design. His artistic and research practice explores contemporary gallery education and how audiences engage with art through both physical and online spaces.

Brendan is also the artist behind the ongoing performance project MOVING WITH ART, developed through his PhD research following his receipt of the Shinnors Scholarship at Limerick City Gallery of Art in 2019.

Tomorrow’s celebrations will conclude with a special performance by Brendan inside the Doolin Cave chamber—a truly unique setting far beneath the Burren landscape.

⚠️ Places for the cave performance are very limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day, at the discretion of Doolin Cave management. Registering for the wider event does not guarantee entry to the cave performance.

The wait is nearly over, and we’re so excited to welcome you to our 20th Anniversary and Sculpture Park Vision Launch Event tomorrow.

Join us for a special afternoon celebrating the stories, folklore, art, traditional skills and landscape of North Clare as we reflect on 20 years of Doolin Cave and share our vision for the new Sculpture Park.

The programme will include storytelling from the Doolin Folklore Group, conversations about art and place, a glacial cave clay workshop, pottery and traditional stone-carving demonstrations, local artists and makers, the Sculpture Trail Vision Exhibition and light welcome refreshments.

The afternoon will conclude with a special performance by Brendan Egan inside the cave chamber—a truly unique setting far beneath the Burren landscape.
