Another upcoming season full of events, sales, classes, and opportunities to see me and get some art or art education!

Don’t wanna learn art and hate my pottery? No prob, let me make you a delicious drink at @lillebonneindy because I can’t control myself and had to add another job to my list (it’s too cute in there!).

Cheers to the busy season (which now feels like every season)- as always if you wanna donate supplies, chat over coffee, collaborate or whatever, let’s talk!

With big gratitude,

It’s that time of year when life kicks my butt and I can’t do anything about it. (Besides eat regularly and do my physical therapy…)

If you see me out and about high five me because I am thriving despite chronic pain and the worst attention span known to man.

Grateful for this creative life I get to live and share. by @doonipagooni

Wish I could go back and tell young me it was gonna be okay in my 30’s and I’m not running out of time in most ways.

Quit that job, start that task, take that class.
Just make a decision.

See you out there, Indy 🤡 by @doonipagooni

THIS SATURDAY- come goop around in pulpy paper soup with me! We will spend this two hour class creating custom handmade papers with recycled materials and found tidbits (and maybe even some glitter…!)

On top of being just a very therapeutic and sensory activating process, these beautiful papers look great framed, used as mats for other art pieces, and can even be cut up and used for collage, handmade cards, price tags, you name it!

See you there, link in bio for registration! taken in Beech Grove, Indiana by @doonipagooni

All skill levels welcome, let’s draw at @lillebonneindy!

For four weeks on Wednesday nights starting August 19th, yours truly (@doonipagooni) will be guiding a group of curious folks through the process of drawing/doodling/illustrating the world around us. I’ll also share how to approach sketching and drawing as a practice to make it more natural and inviting instead of scary!

The more we do things (especially TOGETHER in beautiful community spaces), the better we become!

75/individual, registration online.
All supplies included, though provided paper will be loose sheets so consider bringing a sketch book to contain your classwork!

One of the best parts of building In Process has been meeting artists who believe what we believe:

That creativity should be welcoming.
That process matters just as much as the finished piece.
And that everyone deserves a place to explore, make, and belong.

We’re so excited to welcome Dani to the In Process community!

You’ve more than likely seen Dani around in a ceramic studio, displaying her beautiful ceramics works, teaching some pop up art classes or just being a beam of light in our Indy community.

You can join Dani in the space for:
🎨 Styrofoam Prints & Patterns— THIS SATURDAY 10a-12p
🎨 Handmade Paper Workshop— Aug 29: 4-6 pm

Help us give Dani a warm In Process welcome in the comments! 👋

📣 Vendor Spotlight 📣

Dani Pugel is a local artist, instructor, and mother dwelling on the near east side of Indianapolis. Wheelthrown ceramics is the medium you’ll find her working in the most, but she also dabbles in printmaking, sculpting, and drawing/illustration. Dani’s work is pattern and color-forward and is always in flux after all this time- forever changing, open for exploration. You can also find Dani about town hosting craft clubs at Guggmanhaus Brewing and Ash and Elm Cider Company!

*****************************************************

I’m so thrilled to have Dani with us from @doonipagooni at the #friendsmarket2026 on September 18th from 5-8:30pm located at @ujamaacommunitybookstore and @flannerfarms!

I love Dani’s styles and glazes on her ceramic creations and can’t wait to see more.

Go follow and support her!
