Baseball has been apart of me my whole life. In every aspect of what I do, in my identity, in how I hold my self as a man. It all comes through baseball. Baseball has taught me lessons about life that can be hard to learn, that test you and break you mentally. That’s where I can say baseball truly shaped me, is in adversity. My coaches in all sports have given me something I will carry on for the rest of my life and for that I am thankful. Coach Craig is someone that changed my life, gave me a spark, and believed in me even when I didn’t in myself. I owe my baseball career to him, and my parents who have put hours, miles, and money into letting me follow my dream. Thank you to Dordt for showing me I can play in a way that enlightens God, but also work on my craft. I thank them all for the opportunity to play at the next level. Thank you Bluejays for a childhood I wouldn’t change for the world.
GO BLUEJAYS!
GO DEFENDERS!
Huge shout out to @evanfa05 for the graphic and @lovemackphotographyllc for the pictures.

I’m beyond blessed to announce my commitment to Dordt University to continue my academic and baseball career! First, I want to thank God for guiding me through this journey. Thank you to my family, Coach Carson Lee , Coach Michael Boyle , and all of my coaches and teammates through the years for all the support. A special thank you to Coach Ian Eshelman for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I’m excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to see what God has planned! #DefenderWay @dordtbaseball @carsonlee5 @tammy_baio_real_estate @opajaysbaseball @j_baio_sr @tammylynnbaio @d1graphics taken in In Gods Hands by @dordtbaseball

Officially halfway through the season. With no practice due to heartland break, we figured we’d drop some of our favorite videos from the fall so far!
-
Starting with a single from Josh Hillman, bringing around Talan Brown in a foggy late night scrimmage

Next, we have Stephen Dillender stealing second. Ruled out at first but New York said safe. What do you say?

Then a Joey Schlesselman single brings home Stephen Dillender and Cam Grimes

This one is just a cool static shot of some action. Joe Johnson at 1B getting his prepitch and Easton Casper framing a strike to Jimmy Twombly

Lastly, Ryan Vann hitting a true double in the dome and hitting a celebration at second! taken in Open Space Park by @dordtbaseball
