Baseball has been apart of me my whole life. In every aspect of what I do, in my identity, in how I hold my self as a man. It all comes through baseball. Baseball has taught me lessons about life that can be hard to learn, that test you and break you mentally. That’s where I can say baseball truly shaped me, is in adversity. My coaches in all sports have given me something I will carry on for the rest of my life and for that I am thankful. Coach Craig is someone that changed my life, gave me a spark, and believed in me even when I didn’t in myself. I owe my baseball career to him, and my parents who have put hours, miles, and money into letting me follow my dream. Thank you to Dordt for showing me I can play in a way that enlightens God, but also work on my craft. I thank them all for the opportunity to play at the next level. Thank you Bluejays for a childhood I wouldn’t change for the world.

Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I would like to thank God for the opportunity to play the sport I love. Without Him, none of this would be possible. I would like to thank my family and friends, especially my parents, for pushing me to be the best teammate and man of God I could be. Thank you to my family at CrossFit Sublime, especially Coach Gabby. You have all helped me grow not only physically, but also as a person, and I’m forever grateful for the impact you’ve had on my journey. Coach Matty, Kyle, Kevin, Greg, Savino, thank you all for pushing me to the next level. Thank you to Coach Eshelman for giving me the opportunity and believing in me. I’m honored to announce my commitment to play baseball at Dordt University. #defenderway

A dream I’ve had for a long time is finally becoming real. I’m beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Dordt University! 🟡⚫️

First and foremost, all glory goes to God. Through every high and low, He has continued to guide me and remind me that His plan is greater than my own.

To my family, thank you for every sacrifice, long drive, conversation, and moment you believed in me when I needed it most. I’ll never be able to thank you enough.

To my coaches, thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and helping me become not only a better athlete, but a better person.

It’s crazy thinking about all the practices, games, setbacks, memories, and people that have led me to this moment. I’m forever grateful for everyone who has been part of my journey.

One chapter is coming to an end, but an even bigger one is about to begin.
