what an irony i find out about your death so close to your 1st anniversary (MJ’s birthday, at that). it feels almost unfair to feel these painful feelings of losing the light that you were. between the last time we spoke & your last breath was 4 years ago 💔 we didn’t have a fiery fallout, more like a drift. you came across my mind several times throughout that time, & it really does say something about me never reaching out. i’m genuinely so sorry. i wasn’t there for you in the times that you needed it. i could have picked up the phone anytime & now i don’t get the chance to. i often called you my soul’s soulmate. i still think of you that way, though im sure we both changed. i hope you’re resting & free now. i’ll always find you in any lifetime. i’ll have to carry this guilt & grace with me for the rest of my life, but i’ll also have your love & light with me, as well. i love you so much Bri, and i apologize i wasn’t there for you. til we meet again🪷💌 by @dosesofprecious
