It's landed! ✨️ Grandpa in the Sky is ready for your shelves and your hearts 💌

Cassie O'Neill has beautifully captured love and grief, memory and family in her debut children's book: Grandpa In The Sky. Written for children navigating the loss of someone they love. After Grandpa passes away, a child and their family find a comforting way to stay connected, by writing letters about his adventures in the sky 🌌

These letters become a bridge between worlds, helping the child process grief while keeping Grandpa alive in imagination, memory, and love. Beautifully illustrated by Evgenia Twigg.

New to our Autumn Releases? 🍂 📚 We know you're to love them!

If you enjoyed gentle tales of memory, family and remembrance like Grandma Bird, and Granny and Bean, and perhaps are looking for another book to help children process loss, then you'll love Grandpa in the Sky by Cassie O'Neill 🌌

Looking for something wonderfully silly, tongue twisting, idiom rich and quintessentially British? You'll love Laugh to See a Pudding Crawl by Mike Young 🍮

Readers of Dr Seuss and Roald Dahl will enjoy reading this tale with parents or grandparents who will relish the nostalgia baked into its pages 📚 Laugh to See a Pudding Crawl is a celebration of linguistics, and all the funny little sayings that make up the English language. Fun for all the family, and a great conversation starter!

Get your copies via the link in our bio (our website) or order through all good bookstores ✨️📚 by @dottiepublishing

Sometimes it’s hard to find the words to start the conversationSome conversations are hard to find the words for 💛

Grandpa in the Sky by Cassie O’Neill is a gentle, beautifully illustrated story for children navigating the loss of someone they love.

Through softly rhyming text, it creates a safe space to talk about grief, remember someone special and explore big feelings together, whether that’s at home, in the classroom or as part of PSHE/SEL.

What I mean when I say I founded a children's publisher... 💁‍♀️
Every day is different here at Dottie, but being able to make author's dreams come true, and publish books that support little readers, it often doesn't feel like work at all! 📚✨️
