Pumpkin carving looked a bit different this year 🎃 Continuing to celebrate the release of 'Grandpa in the Sky' at every opportunity ✨️

Granted, the artwork should be left to the pro! @zhenya_twigg - I did my best 🙈

Over 10 years and a whole heap of rejections later…

Mildred the Marmot and the Mad Mountain March, my little book about dreaming big, embracing nature and finding confidence in oneself, is not only published - but available worldwide. Including, Switzerland 🇨🇭

Taking Mildred back to her home 🐻 ♥️

I am such a fan of @amyfitzgeorgebalfour for her amazing interior designs and creations. As a mummy of 5 amazing kids, her instagram is full of family adventures, her unique artwork and such joy all round!

I was so delighted her daughter loved my debut book, all about courage, confidence and the message (via a mountain marmot) of giving things a try! This page, showing the designs of the amazing illustrator @family_scribbles is my favourite in the whole book!

It means the world seeing young people read my book, thank you 📕. Do let me know if you have a copy of Mildred, I would love to share your book experiences too! ⭐️ 🐻

Dottie Publishing Launch 🎉 I am still on SUCH a high from yesterday's event with @dottiepublishing at @pitterpotteruk 🩷 I finally met some of the incredible team behind Dottie and gave them the biggest hugs!

I was in a room of incredibly talented children who were making some amazing pottery! And I met with lots of lovely adults who gave such positve feedback on the book 📚

A huge thank you to @jessicabettsgray, who had arranged beautiful balloons, the cutest cupcakes, stickers, bookmarks and postcards, featuring @zhenya_twigg's stunning illustrations ✨️

Thank you to Molly and co, who captured the day so beautifully 📸

Thank you to Alice, for her ongoing support throughout the creation of this book. It's incredible to see how the story has come to life and I am so grateful for this opportunity 🙏🏼

Thank you to everyone who came to support the release of 'Grandpa in the Sky'. I'm not sure how I didn't cry! 🥹

Finally, to the old man with white hair and a moustache, who stopped for a rest outside the window as I was signing books... great timing, thank you! I felt like you were our good luck charm for the day 🍀

Just when I felt I may be entering 'uncool mum' territory, I have quickly redeemed myself! My 10 year old thinks @_tommclaughlin holding my debut picture book is VERY COOL! 😎 Thank you Tom for restoring my 'coolness' & for your kind words 🙏🏼
