Dear @tuftsdpt, I’m finding it hard to put into words what I feel as I close this chapter of my life, but I’ll start with a simple thank you. You pushed me, molded me, and challenged me to become the best dad, husband, son, brother, and clinician you saw in me—even when I had yet to see it in myself. If I have seen further, it is only because I have stood on the shoulders of giants. To the faculty, mentors, classmates, patients, and friends who allowed me to stand on theirs: I will carry what you have given me wherever this vocation takes me. I am eternally grateful to call myself a member of the Tufts family. It takes a village to raise a person, and this program became part of mine. My hope is that I can repay even a fraction of what you have given me by becoming a shoulder for my patients, my athletes, and those who come next. With gratitude, Dr. Dominic Defiesta, DPT taken in Tufts University by @doubledefie13

And just like that, PT school is done! A huge thank you to Brett Walker and the @brewers rehab staff for pushing me every day. It was a privilege to work alongside and collaborate with fellow DPTs, ATCs, strength staff, dietitians, and sport psychologists. This experience reminded me that this journey is one we walk together to help as many people as we can. This is a bittersweet day, but also the first day you can refer to me as Dr. Dominic Defiesta, DPT 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾 taken in American Family Fields of Phoenix by @doubledefie13

Anyone that knows me knows how much love I have for the Bay. Being able to serve the melting pot that raised me was a special experience. Much love to @monlouise_dpt, Aaron and the SOL Berkeley family for mentoring and pushing me every day 🧡🧡🧡 by @doubledefie13
