What's the perfect camera kit? #sponsoredbysony

For me, the Sony Alpha 7R V combined with the 24-70 G Master II and the 100-400 G Master I make the perfect kit. With the 24-70 G Master II, I can effortlessly capture larger than life landscapes and those wide establishing shots. The 100-400 G Master I, my personal favorite lens, is the ultimate addition to a camera kit because it allows me to compress a scene to create dramatic layers. I can also capture tack sharp images and videos of fleeting wildlife moments without skipping a beat. The Sony Alpha 7R V, with its 61-megapixel sensor, gives me peace of mind knowing that I can crop in on an image without sacrificing quality or sharpness. Finally, the A7R V allows me to quickly switch from photos to videos with its 4k 60 fps video function.

I've been shooting on Sony Alpha camera bodies for well over a decade and I can confidently say that the Sony Alpha 7R V is the perfect camera for capturing professional quality wildlife photos while also enabling high-quality 4k videos. Simply put, this camera is perfect for me and my travels. @sonyalpha #SonyAlpha by @downtofowler

A week that I'll cherish forever 🍃

My mom is the person that inspired me to care about the outdoors, to be excited about wildlife, and to care about embracing the natural world that surrounds us. As a thank you to her for instilling this sense of awe and wonder, I took her to @brownbearbay to experience her very own Nat Geo moment as opposed to experiencing through a screen.

These moments will forever be held closely to my heart and I know that she'll be cherishing this trip to Alaska just as much, if not more than I have 🐻

Love you mama bear! If you have your mother still in your life, then take a moment to tell her you love her 🐻

Moments of perfection from the mountains of Washington 🏔️

Photographing the many volcanoes and rugged glaciated peaks in the North Cascades is by far one of my favorite things to do as a photographer. Every summit offers a different perspective of the landscape, every sunset casts a new series of layers to admire, and every adventure contains something unexpected that makes it an unforgettable experience.

Im excited to head back into the North Cascades this weekend and can't wait to share what the mountains have in store!

@scott_kranz captured that first photo of me standing on the false summit of Austera Peak in 2023 🤙🏽

Happy Fat Bear week everyone 🐻

These may not be the chonkiest of bears, but they're most certainly some of the best mama bears in Alaska! I'm sure that most of these bears have thickened up since my week long visit to @brownbearbay back in July. Anywho, hope you all enjoy these beautiful bears thriving in bearadise!

Honestly, it's difficult to choose just one subject to call my favorite when it comes to photography 🍃

I love climbing mountains and photographing vast rugged layers during golden hour. I love photographing wildlife moments around the globe whether they be a swift short eared owl flying past me or a majestic lion feasting upon a wildebeest. I love photographing candid lifestyle moments at a cozy cabin in autumn. I love photographing luxury properties around the world that pride themselves in conservation efforts.

The answer is simple. I love photographing life as a whole. From the grand adventure moments to the otherwise uneventful moments sitting around a campfire. Photography is a way for me to remember these fleeting moments and it's a way for me to share these experiences with my loved ones.

What about you? Do you have a favorite subject to photograph? 🍃 by @downtofowler
