People kept asking Monique Barrie, @mbarriem what they could do to help. She never once said write a cheque.

Her answer is your two hands. Money or no money. Find a charity that already fits your life, then show up to it in person. She points people to the Calgary Foundation’s directory to start.

It’s how she’s operated for close to seven years with @nimcally @imalbertabound, Women in Need Society @winsyyc and @closertohomeyyc.

Her friends have worked out that seeing her socially means seeing her at a charity event.

💻 If you haven’t yet, make sure to check out @mbarriem’s cover story is in the May 2026 issue of @businessincalgarymagazine 📖 taken in Canada by @downtownyyc

Happy Monday everyone! ☕️

Starting the week with a thought that’s been on my mind: the power of having a vision. In our personal lives, it’s like rocket fuel, propelling us towards our dreams and pulling our goals closer. Remember, we can’t achieve what we can’t envision. A clear vision sets our soul ablaze, driving us forward with unstoppable determination.

In the business world, a vision is absolutely crucial. Without an inspiring goal, we’re just treading water in a sea of mediocrity. A vision sets our direction, unites our teams, and ignites passion. It’s the bedrock of any successful business and the secret to standing out in the market.

So, let’s start this week by focusing on our end goals. Visualize them, make them vibrant and precise. Embed them in your mind, feel them in your heart, and watch as the universe conspires to make them a reality.

Remember, a clear vision is not just a nice-to-have; it’s essential in both life and career.

Make this week count! What’s your vision? Share it, own it, and chase your dreams! 💪

Take care,
@ShaneWenzel

It’s June which means it’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness month to speak up as men and end the stigma once and for all.

I encourage you to share a quick video across your social media channels on a quote, mantra, an activity or a tip that has helped you triumph in a tough moment or a dark day. After posting your video clip, please make sure to tag us @MenTELL.ca and use the hashtag #MenTELLHealth.

Remember that if you can make a video and share it, please do this for yourself, a best friend, a husband, a child, a boyfriend, a partner, a colleague, a neighbour and truly anyone who feels that there is no hope and that no one will listen.

Today and everyday, we must remember to speak up and that #MenTellHealth

With love + light,
Your friend, ZAK 🧠
