POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a whirlwind the last two weeks have been. I got to play with @tedeschitrucksband and @treyanastasio at @ericclapton’s @crossroadsguitarfestival. I inducted my friend Paul Reed Smith of @prsguitars into @guitarcenter’s RockWalk. I celebrated @therealbuddyguy’s 90th birthday with my extended musical family at @radiocitymusichall. I announced @spherevegas shows. I played a special one-off solo show in my home state of CT at @mohegansun. I jammed with Dave Grohl for his @hopethemission charity event at @chaplinrecording. And in one of the more thrilling opportunities I’ve ever been given, I backed up the legendary @officialannielennox along with my dear sweet friend Wendy Melvoin @wigmusic on “Sweet Dreams,” which I think is apropos given the wild ride I’ve just been on. I’m a lucky dude. More fun soon… by @doylebramhall2

A powerful reminder of what brings us all together. ❤️

Thank you, @doylebramhall2 for taking a moment on stage to recognize Crossroads Centre Antigua and the purpose behind the Crossroads Guitar Festival.

Beyond the incredible music, last weekend was about something much greater — bringing people together, raising awareness, and giving hope to those on their journey to recovery.

We’re grateful for your continued support and for helping us share a message that reaches far beyond the stage. 🎸❤️ taken in Moody Center ATX by @doylebramhall2

As the star, glimmering at an immeasurable distance above our heads, in the boundless immensity of the sky, reflects itself in the smooth waters of a lake, so does the imagery of men of the antediluvian ages reflect itself in the periods we can embrace in an historical retrospect.

One of the most powerful things Doyle said in this episode...

The trauma you're carrying isn't just yours. It's your parents'. Their parents'. The wars. The genocides. All of it stored in your cells, passed down through the whole lineage.

But it stops here. The work we do now means the generations born after this don't have to carry it anymore.

Comment 482 and we'll send you the full episode.
