If you’ve been thinking about starting your own cash-based practice… this is for you 🤍

I started mine in 2019 because I was burnt out, overworked, and knew I wanted something different.

I didn’t have everything figured out.

I just made a decision to try—and over time, it worked.

Now I help other healthcare providers do the same—whether you’re just getting started or ready to scale.

There are a few different ways I can support you depending on where you’re at:

If you’re just getting started:

Comment “EBOOK” and I’ll send you my free beginner guide

If you want help with the setup side of things:

Comment “TBB” and I’ll send you Therapy Business Basics

If you’re ready for coaching + support to actually build and grow your practice:

DM me “CEO”

If you already have a practice and want to scale:

DM me “CLUB”

And if you’re not sure where you fit…

just DM me “CEO” and I’ll help you figure it out 🤍 by @dpttoceo

✨ Meet the Team Behind DPT to CEO ✨

No one builds a sustainable practice alone — and you're not meant to.

Every single person on this team is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy — and every one of them has been through this program herself. They're not coaching theory. They built their own practices, work for themselves, and now they help you do the same.

At the helm is Morgan — founder and Head Coach.

Alongside her is Sam, Senior Coach & Sales Expert, helping you lead confident conversations and actually convert the clients you know you're meant to serve.

You're supported by Assistant Coaches Karen, Bre, and Cristina — bringing clarity, accountability, marketing strategy, and real-world execution when you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or spinning. Karen also leads project management, turning ideas into systems behind the scenes.

Paige, our Website Specialist & Marketing Assistant, brings your brand to life online.

And inside it all? A community of clinicians inside our Circle platform — where you're supported, challenged, and surrounded by people building right alongside you.

This isn't a course.

It's a team.
A strategy.
And a community that actually gets it.

If you've been craving clarity, momentum, and real support—

💬 Comment "DTC" and we'll send you the next steps. by @dpttoceo

here’s what’s actually inside DPT to CEO — swipe for the full breakdown 👉

most “business coaching” for therapists is theory dressed up as strategy. modules, mindset talks, vibes.

DPT to CEO is a 9-month 1:1 coaching experience with a phased roadmap, real-time support, and coaches who actually run cash-based practices.

you get:
→ 1:1 calls with your primary coach
→ weekly group coaching with the full team
→ a done-for-you website
→ a private student community
→ lifetime access to everything

if you’re ready to build the practice and life you actually want — comment “join” and i’ll send you the application 🫡

This week is my business anniversary 🥳 Seven years of working for myself, and my first month I made just $504.70, and I never looked back.

Now I run a multi-six-figure business with seven people on my team. In the past year I ran over 500 miles and three half marathons. I read 52 books a year, and I've qualified for the CrossFit quarterfinals twice.

And I'm a firm believer that all of it comes down to the bare minimum.

Here's what I mean. I have standards for my daily and weekly routines, and I give myself permission to turn the volume down when I need to. If I'm supposed to send 20 DMs and it feels like too much, I send 5. If I'm supposed to read for 15 minutes, I read for 3. If I'm supposed to run five miles and I can't get myself out the door, I tell myself, "Okay, just run one and see how you feel." If I still hate it after a mile, I'm done, and I still hit my requirement for the day. But most days I get to that mile and keep going.

We do this with patients all the time. If they can't do all three sets of their home program, we don't tell them to skip it. We tell them to do one, because the habit is the thing.

An object in motion stays in motion. So I make it a point to never fully stop the habits that got me here, and that's what lets me be an absolute unit when it comes to running my business.

We were talking about this in our coaches chat recently. The thing we look for in a client who's going to make it isn't talent or a perfect plan. It's stick-with-it-ness. It's the person who still sends 5 DMs the week everything falls apart.

So think about this. How would your business change, and how would your life change, if you became the most reliable person in the room?

Not the most talented or the hardest working. Just the one who always shows up, even if it's only for the bare minimum, every single day. by @dpttoceo

you didn't go to school for eight years to spend your open hours reorganizing your google drive. there's a fix, i call it the big 3.

every empty hour on your calendar feels like an opportunity, so you fill it with whatever's easiest, not whatever actually moves things. answering emails, refreshing instagram to see if anyone commented, none of it is actually moving the needle and deep down you probably already know that.

here's what i tell every single one of my students. one sales activity, one marketing activity, one client delivery activity, every single day, before anything else gets to touch your calendar. sales goes first because it's the hardest and has the most friction, so once it's done the rest of the day genuinely feels like a breeze.

my own system is a whiteboard under my monitor for anything that pops into my head mid call, and once a week i dump the whole thing into my calendar. nothing stays loose in my brain.

b. was stuck at $2k months for an entire year. nothing about her hours changed, just what she protected inside them. first a $5k month, then her first $8k, working less than she had been at $2k.

this is the exact system we build out inside dpt to ceo.

save this so you actually protect your big 3 tomorrow, then comment DTC and i'll send you info on how to apply by @dpttoceo

Today the hard part wasn't the workout.

Legendary Powerhouse is something I'm choosing to identify as right now. It's my way of counting the days and stacking the building blocks one on top of another, the same way I've done it before. On paper, it's about showing up physically. For me, it's turning into emotional rehab.

Every day I keep one small promise to myself. I'm working on learning how to trust myself again, so I can learn how to trust other people too.

CrossFit has always been where I find my people. Most of my closest friends, I met in a gym. This year I've had to say goodbye to some of those communities and change my daily routine around what my mental health actually needs. I know it's the right call. It's also been really bittersweet. You don't realize how much of your life was built around seeing the same faces every day until you stop seeing them.

I've done a lot of partner competitions over the years. And today I'm really missing my partner.

I'm trying to let myself miss things without going back to them, while still holding onto what matters most to me. That's what healing looks like for me right now. It's not a big breakthrough, just one more day stacked on the last one.

And this week, I get the other side of it. The DPT to CEO retreat is happening, and I'm over the moon. Getting to be in a room with our students and my team, pouring into every single person who walks in, is going to be so much fun.

When I'm healing, my instinct is to pull away and isolate on purpose. What I keep finding is that connection heals me so much faster than being alone ever has. So I'm choosing it as much as I can, and this week I get to choose it in the best way possible🤍 by @dpttoceo

The feeling of being ready to leave your PT job is never going to show up. A number will.

Most clinicians I talk to who are building a practice on the side aren’t short on clients. They’re short on a decision point. Nobody gave them a threshold, so the default becomes “when it feels right,” and that’s how two years go by with a practice that grows a few hours a week at a time.

The marker we use inside DPT to CEO is a caseload number, not a mood. Once you hit it, you make the next move: full time drops to part time or per diem, and then you leave. It’s a step down, then out.

I wrote out the whole plan: the savings range that’s actually enough, what to read in your contract before you say anything to your employer, and the first 30 days once you’re fully on your own.

Comment LEAP and I’ll send you the link.

That $50,000 startup number you keep seeing was built for a clinic you’re not opening.

My first month in a CrossFit gym netted $504.70. I didn’t need a buildout to get there. I needed clear numbers and a model that fit my life.

The new video goes model by model: mobile, home-based, garage gym and rented space. It covers what each one actually costs to start and run, and how many sessions it takes to cover your overhead.

Send this to the PT who keeps saying she’ll start “once she saves up.”

Comment STARTUP and I’ll DM you the full video that breaks it down. by @dpttoceo

At the end of August, my whole reality turned 180 degrees. Something happened that I never thought would happen to me, and I've spent the weeks since moving from shock into grief.

The strangest part is that my days look the same. Same routine. Same schedule. I love my routine, and right now I feel like I'm watching myself do it from somewhere outside my body. It's like I landed on a new planet and I'm still learning how to walk in the new gravity.

I've worked for myself for almost seven years. I've built through a lot. But I have never had to come to terms with something this big while still showing up for a business and the people inside it.

So here's what I'm doing.

I'm going back to the things I know are fun for me and that help me be the best version of myself, even when they feel weird. Especially when they feel weird.

And I'm talking to myself the way I'd talk to a friend or one of my clients. If one of them came to me with this, I would never tell her to push harder. I'd tell her to have grace, protect what matters, and let the routine carry her until she can carry it again.

That's why I believe in structure. It's the thing still standing when life isn't.

Day 3. Still here. Still building. by @dpttoceo
