Wodapalooza SoCal 2026 🏋🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏖️ My first WZA, I was on the equipment team 🤘🏻 moving plates, resetting lanes, and watching these athletes thinking "maybe someday."

The second time, I came back as a spectator and athlete support, still on the outside of the floor looking in. This year, I got to compete.

I honestly don't think I can put into words what that means to me. The girl who volunteered that first year could only dream of doing this, let alone competing alongside athletes of this caliber. If you'd told her she'd be out there in those heats, she wouldn't have believed you.

This year has brought some of the hardest challenges of my life. My life looks so different than it did even a month ago, and I couldn't train the way I normally do for 2–3 weeks leading into this. I wasn't sure how I'd hold up, and I was nervous. But I showed up anyway, and I'm so proud of what I was able to do out there:

🌊 Running a 4k on the beach like it was nbd (bc I run half marathons now)
🌊 Hitting a bar muscle up in competition
🌊 Getting a heat win
🌊 Starting in 56th out of 56 after the first event and clawing my way up to 36th by the end of 6 events

That last one might mean the most to me, because it kind of sums up my whole year. Starting at the bottom, not quitting, and climbing one event at a time.

There were so many moments this weekend that I normally would have called home about the second they happened. I couldn't this time (also Goni can't answer the phone himself) So in between all the excitement, there was a lot of quiet self-reflection too, and I think that made every one of these moments mean even more.

And getting to do it at my favorite competition, surrounded by friends who've grown so much right alongside me? Watching all of us transform over the years has been one of the coolest things I've ever been part of.

To the girl on the equipment team: we made it. 🥹

See you in 2027 🫡

POV: The thing that once felt impossible starts becoming your real life ✨

Today I got to be a guest on my first entrepreneur podcast with my business coach, Morgan Messe… and it honestly felt surreal.

We talked about the reality of building a business, helping people through physical therapy, and what it takes to grow through uncomfortable seasons.

One thing I’ve learned:
growth happens when you stop waiting to feel “ready.”

The same thing applies to healing too.
Most people wait too long to address their pain, hoping it’ll magically go away. But your body responds best when you take action early.

If back pain, sciatica, neck pain, or stiffness has been holding you back lately — I’d love to help you move confidently again 🤍

Send me a DM with “PAIN FREE” to learn how we can work together.#flexflowpt #backpainrelief #physicaltherapy #dpttoceo

Social media is a mobile experience📱 So why not make content on the go too?

This was an impromptu filming session. We were on a hike and the incredible owner of DPT to CEO, Dr. Morgan Meese, decided to play with some fun ideas she had for content to use on her pages.

This is just proof that content creation doesn’t have to be this big production. It can be organic, made with friends, a ton of fun, and done from anywhere you have a phone camera 🎥

These are my strength coach Joe Camoratto @acrossthecontinuum , my business coach, @drmorganmeese founder and CEO of @dpttoceo, and @coachbennett, Nike Running Global Head Coach, to whom I listen on almost all of my runs. Then you might notice my own picture is also up there. That is because all three of these coaches have taught me that there is massive value in learning how to be your own coach. This is something that I strive to teach the athletes in Dancer’s Choice Custom Strength Coaching. You will spend far more time with you than I will, and if I can teach you how to be your own best coach, anything is possible!! Work can be fun!

And when you work for yourself, you can work with your best friends in your favorite city😎

This is also a good example of how to create quick and easy content. It doesn’t always have to be this stunning big production. It can be you doing what you do on the daily. And sometimes that’s just as good!
