For so much of my life, I was taught that psychedelics were something to fear.

Yet psychedelic medicine became the very thing that changed the course of my life.

It challenged what I thought I knew about myself, healing and consciousness, and ultimately changed the direction of my work.

Now, my focus is on helping build the structures that allow this medicine to be approached differently. Not recklessly. Not as a trend. But safely, responsibly, ethically, and with the scientific rigour it deserves.

To stand on the Mindvalley stage and speak openly about something I once believed I had to fear felt incredibly full circle.

Perhaps some of the things we have been taught to fear are simply the things we have not yet learned to understand. by @dr.nima

I genuinely believe the future of medicine will involve a much deeper understanding of frequency.

We’ve spent decades looking at the body predominantly through the lens of chemistry. But we are also electrical, rhythmic beings, constantly responding to the environment around us.

Light affects our circadian rhythm. Sound can influence our nervous system. Food sends information throughout the body. Water and electrolytes are fundamental to cellular function. We can now stimulate nerves with electricity and use light and electromagnetic fields therapeutically.

Science is beginning to give us the language and technology to understand things that ancient traditions have explored for thousands of years.

For me, this isn’t about replacing conventional medicine. It’s about expanding it.

Understanding the human being as a whole and creating the conditions that allow the body to regulate, restore and function at its best.

Science and spirituality don’t have to sit on opposite sides.

I think the most exciting discoveries will happen where they meet.

The future of medicine is frequency. And I think we’re only just beginning to understand what that means. by @dr.nima

At the very core, the human body is energy.

Every heartbeat, every muscle contraction, every message travelling through your nervous system depends on electrical activity.

So what happens when we start looking at health not only through chemistry… but through the electrical environment of the body too?

Introducing the Human Regenerator ⚡️

A completely non-invasive whole-body technology using Cold Atmospheric Plasma, creating a controlled environment of charged particles, including electrons and ions, around the body.

You simply sit inside it, fully clothed, for around 30 minutes.

No needles.
No heat.
No pain.
No workout.

The research around plasma medicine and our electrical biology is still emerging, but this is exactly the space I find so fascinating.

Rather than targeting one isolated concern, the Human Regenerator is designed as a whole-body wellness experience, with people using it to support recovery, energy, sleep, circulation, focus, stress regulation and general wellbeing.

For me, this represents where wellness is heading.

Not replacing conventional medicine.

But beginning to understand that the human body is not only biochemical.

It is electrical too. ⚡️

For anyone new here - I’m Nima

I started my career in dentistry, then moved into aesthetic medicine, but over time I became increasingly interested in a bigger question: what does it actually mean to help someone feel truly well?

That led me to create @remedilondon , a wellness sanctuary built around the belief that wellness isn’t one-dimensional. It’s physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual. We wanted to create something that looked beyond treatments alone and supported the whole person.

More recently, I’ve also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychedelic Medicine, which has deepened my interest in consciousness, healing, the nervous system and the way our inner world can shape our health and how we experience life.

From there came @remedi_retreats , immersive experiences designed to help people slow down, reconnect, regulate and understand themselves on a deeper level.

And now I’m building the next chapter: @remedisanctum — a hotel and wellness sanctuary in the south of France centred around nervous-system regulation, community, ritual, longevity and helping people return to alignment with their own core frequency.

Everything I’m building comes back to the same belief:

When we come back into alignment with who we truly are, everything begins to change.

So if you’re new here, welcome. This page is a mix of wellness, aesthetics, science, spirituality, consciousness, nervous-system work and the lessons I’m learning along the way. by @dr.nima

There have been moments in my life where, from the outside, the sensible thing would have been to stop.

The numbers didn’t make sense.
The timing looked wrong.
The risk looked too big.
And there were definitely moments where other people thought I was taking things too far.

But something in me was certain.

Not certainty that I knew exactly how it would work out, but a deeper belief that I was moving in the right direction. That it was aligned. That there was a reason I felt called to keep going.

So I did.

And more than once, at the point where things looked their bleakest, something appeared almost out of nowhere: the right person, the right opportunity, the right piece of information, the exact thing that suddenly changed the entire picture.

I’ve learnt that faith doesn’t always look logical.

Sometimes it looks like continuing when the evidence tells you not to.
Sometimes it looks like taking the risk others wouldn’t dare to take.
Sometimes it looks like audacious optimism when everyone else is preparing for failure.

I don’t believe that means ignoring reality. I believe it means listening to something deeper than fear.

Some of the most important things I’ve built in my life started long before there was any proof they were going to work.

Just unwavering faith, a clear vision, and the feeling that somehow, this was part of my destiny.

And strangely enough, when I’ve trusted that feeling most deeply, the path has always had a way of revealing itself. by @dr.nima

We talk endlessly about optimising the body. But what if we’re ignoring the system constantly deciding whether that body is safe?

The nervous system sits at the intersection of stress, sleep, emotion, connection and behaviour.

For me, this is where wellness becomes much more interesting.

Not simply adding more supplements, treatments and technology.

But understanding the state of the human being receiving them.

Regulation before optimisation.

And perhaps, increasingly, regulation is optimisation. by @dr.nima

Psilocybin may do more than alter perception. New preclinical research suggests it could help reverse some of the biological effects of chronic stress on the brain.

In a 2026 study published in Progress in Neuro-Psychopharmacology & Biological Psychiatry, researchers examined the effects of psilocybin in rats exposed to chronic stress. After two doses, the animals showed improvements in behaviours associated with depression, alongside changes linked to neuroplasticity and brain recovery.

One of the most interesting findings involved the hippocampus, a region heavily involved in memory, emotion and the stress response. The researchers reported improvements in markers including BDNF, as well as evidence of increased neurogenesis and normalisation of stress-related biological changes.

What makes this especially interesting is the shift in how we may eventually think about mental health treatment.

Rather than simply suppressing symptoms, psychedelic compounds such as psilocybin are being investigated for their potential to create a temporary window of increased neuroplasticity, potentially allowing the brain to form new patterns and adapt differently.

It’s important to put this into context: this was an animal study, not a human clinical trial, so we cannot directly translate these findings into claims that psilocybin “repairs” the human brain.

But the emerging research around psychedelics, neuroplasticity and mental health continues to challenge our understanding of what recovery may actually look like at a biological level.
