I didn’t see the emotion coming, but this is the meaning behind the work, the purpose that gets me up in the morning.

A real privilege, not only to transform appearance but to transform emotion, and to be a part of someone’s journey.

Sometimes it’s to make someone feel great for their wedding, their holiday, sometimes it’s to bring back a sense of self, to really build a confidence that helps them move forward in day to day life with ease. Whatever it is, the motivation carries some emotion and we must understand it.

Thank you to every patient for your trust, love, and honour i cherish. Thank you for letting me do what i love, while i get to be a little part in your journey.

September was a busy one for Totally Derma®.

A month filled with events, conversations, new audiences and plenty of moments worth looking back on.

HOS brought the practitioner community together, Asiana Bridal Luxe introduced Totally Derma® to a new setting, and the TWIQK Talk podcast opened up another conversation around skin health, collagen and healthy ageing.

Alongside the exhibitions, product moments and industry conversations, there were a few more personal snapshots too.

Grateful for the opportunity to hold a safe space for colleagues.

Thank you @ccrlondon @aestheticsjournaluk @shannonkilgariff & team for inviting me to contribute for the fourth time at ‘Meet the Mentor’ this week. This one felt different.

Having spent the last year pursuing coaching qualifications, i was able to see far deeper into the obstacles being presented.

Combining years of clinical experience, practice ownership as well as a deeper understanding of human behaviour, made this experience more holistic, offering a chance to explore the overcoming of subconscious barriers, with the aim of moving people forward with more significant leaps towards goals.

Thank you to every attendee for your trust & vulnerability. I’m here if you feel there was something uncovered that needs closing or clarity.

Thanks also for inviting me to present on Combination Cases - Dentofacial Aesthetics at the Spotlight Stage. Championing the integration has been a long time passion.

Medicine Festival. What an experience. 🤍

Five days. 12,000 people. One incredible frequency of human connection.

In a world where separation and differences can feel so prevalent, Medicine gave me a glimpse of what happens when we put the walls down and simply connect.

From Qigong in a tree in the middle of the main stage area, to three-hour conversations about consciousness and the future of humanity. From the London Nootropics family stand that set the tone for my festival, to the soul family and strangers I met who left me with moments of wisdom I’ll carry forward.

@maltemarten on the main stage was something else.

Just allowing myself to hear the handpan, feel the earth beneath me and completely immerse in the sound, the music and myself. It inspired me to want to explore the handpan even more.

And then @nessigomesmusic

That experience took me through so many emotions. I looked around and saw people singing, connecting and holding hands together.

And I remember thinking:

THIS.

This is Medicine.

The music. The raves. The drum & bass soul circle we created. The laughter. The sound healing. The conversations. The moments of stillness.

But ultimately, it was the people.

I went there with one intention: be present.

I didn’t need to do every workshop or experience everything. I became an observer, allowing myself to connect with the land, the music, the people and myself.

And somewhere towards the final few days, I completely immersed myself.

That’s when I realised:

The connection itself was the medicine.

And I don’t want that feeling to stay in a field outside London.

We don’t need to wait another two years for Medicine.

We need to carry it into everyday life.

It starts with ourselves. Then our families, friendships, communities, events, retreats and every space we create.

Because if 12,000 people can experience this together, what could humanity do if we carried that energy into the world?
