Processed is processed... even when "plant based." Eat real food folks. Real veggies and fruits. Not factory food. Just because a food doesn't have meat, doesn't make it healthy, especially not when it's run through a machine with chemicals added to it to keep it "fresh." Choose wisely.

#eatmorelivingthings

Check out my reel about vegan/vegetarian foods not always meaning healthy.

(I'll link both in my stories.)

36 hours in DC to catch the tail end of the 5th Annual Shades of Mass Conference! @shadesofmass

Friday night's social event featured Raheem DeVaughn, followed by a Saturday full of lectures on class actions and mass tort litigation, great conversations, and valuable new connections. Wrapped up the conference with an evening cruise!

Of course, had to get in a couple of hotel mirror outfit checks on the way to sessions. 😆

Quick trip, well worth it, and made it back in time to catch my Dolphins play (and give me heartburn)!

I didn't make it to Atlanta for @theraceuc half marathon due to a family emergency, but I felt major #fomo and was blessed to have a few hours today to get the 13.1 miles in.

I didn't race them... but I did the miles as a slow long run/walk in preparation for the full marathon next month @richmondmarathon. It felt good, and I got this slow run done at around the same time as my 2018 half marathon races when I was 8 years younger! #progress

On this Sunday, it felt good being able to honor God for health and life with pushing my body to do something difficult, even as I age.

And although I sometimes feel alone on some of these previously unblazed trails I walk in my journey, I definitely did not feel alone this week. I am grateful for the support and prayers, near and far... and these 13.1 miles are for y'all too. taken in Greensboro, North Carolina by @dr.tygaines

Girls Night Out at the @tonightsconversation live taping in Miami Friday night... Had a great time with the ladies—and seeing the podcast unfold in real life!

Clearly, I would’ve gotten better pics if I hadn’t been so busy talking to everybody when they came through for selfies. 😆

A good time was had. taken in DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center by @dr.tygaines

Is that Dr. TyGa Woods?? 😆. Took my recent golf lessons for a spin on a real course. Beginner status for sure, but I had fun! I have a year to work on my skills before next @urbangolfweekend! taken in Miami Beach Golf Club by @dr.tygaines
