An open secret. Controlled chaos. Awfully good at being wonderfully flawed. I know that I am intelligent because I know that I know nothing.

Another year and another wrinkle but I’m not worried cuz I’m still a sprinkle!

I’ll eat some cake, blow out the flame,
and celebrate cuz I still got game. 🤭🎂🎉🎁

Thanks to my MPS Closer BFFs @nursemaritess @gomisa for making this birthday the best! 😘💜

Apparently I do Punch Hour instead of Friday Happy Hour now. 🥊 Family bonding but with gloves. Then we went to the sauna. Who am I?! 🤣💀

The Playaz came out to play — but the real flex is how @bigrut415 & @united_playaz have been lifting lives for 31 years. Still turning up the good, still changing the game. The block showed up and the fam showed out.

Proud to stand with the Playaz! 🆙4life ❤️👊🏽🔥 #31yearsstrong @danielluriesf @scott_wiener @p_lo taken in Press Club by @dr_carmelaj

Thank you, @joy_sue & Alan, for trusting me to MC your Tuscany wedding. After everything life has thrown your way, it was an honor to witness two resilient people choose each other. 💚🇮🇹🥂

I started the ceremony by asking everyone to silence their cell phones.

I ended the night with the groom asking me to silence myself due to a local noise ordinance. 🤣🎤💀

Somewhere between getting locked in a bathroom and using increasingly aggressive interpretive hand gestures to keep everyone on schedule, I learned it’s possible to be both memorable and terrifying.

I came to Italy looking for my Eat, Pray, Love moment. Instead, I apparently CNN, Coordinate, and Creep Back to My Room. This city girl happily skipped the pizza making, pasta making, hiking, and foraging in favor of WiFi, CNN, and being left in peace… yet somehow still got forced into frolicking, hand-holding, and linking arms. The entire time I protested, “Don’t tag me on Instagram! What is happening? Why do you people enjoy this?” Then they showed me the videos and I was like, “Oh shit… that’s actually really cute. OK fine, tag me.” 💀

To Joy & Alan, thank you for a trip of a lifetime. Here’s to resilient love, unforgettable memories, and the people who somehow make us do things we’d never choose on our own. 🥂✨🇮🇹 taken in Tuscany, Italy by @dr_carmelaj
