Such a great day! @melindadormaier and I went in to Seattle this morning to meet my inspiration of all the things that I do for fitness @bodyfitbyamy !! This made my heart so happy and full. And you guessed it! Ms Amy did have us to a 40 min workout right on the pier and it of course was challenging and fun. Saw some body fitters that I met before and finally met some that I have only had online friendships like @dr_carmelaj and @vivianessdietitian ❤️❤️❤️OH EM GEE Carmela! You are amazing! What a week…I’ll try to make this short…TRY😂🫶🏽

My first jiu jitsu tournament, first week back at school, a random Golden Gate Bridge side quest, seeing Akon & Ne-Yo LIVE, spending time with people I love, working on something special for my beautiful abuelita, and most importantly, continuing to work on ME.

First, thank you God. 🙏🏽🥹

Thank you to my family, my beautiful friends, and everyone who reached out, prayed for me, wished me luck or sent positive vibes. Trust me, I see y’all and I appreciate you.

BIG thank you to Coach Kenny @kennythaiger and my teammates at @elninotrainingcenter @skrappack Every practice, every round, every correction and every minute y’all have invested into me means more than you know.
I walked into this gym in April 2025 with goals for myself. Two months later, life changed when I lost one of the most beautiful people in my life, my abuelita. The love the SKRAPPACK family showed me during that time is something I will never forget. 💙

I didn’t get the results I wanted at my first tournament, and of course I was hard on myself because I expect a lot from myself. But sometimes we get so focused on the result that we forget to be proud of ourselves for having the courage to SHOW UP.

A year and some change into this journey and I’m reminded that I am still a student every single day. There is always something new to learn, on and off the mat.
Keep going. Keep fighting. Keep believing. Your time will come. God’s timing, not ours. 🙏🏽

And somewhere between training, school and everything else life brings, this week reminded me to LIVE too.

Take the side quest. Go to the concert. Spend time with your people. Do something that brings you peace. Do something little you would be proud of.
Then get back LOCKED IN.

If you know me, you know where I come from.…but when I look around today, I can’t help but see how blessed I am.

At a time when I have lost so much, God has given it back to me 10x more, just in different ways. Through people, love, opportunities, experiences and growth.
Still learning. Still growing. Still fighting. Still living.
Thank you God for it ALL. 🥹🤍🙏🏽

Just finished my 1st Muay Thai class 🥊! This class was super cool 😎. Gotta thank my friend @dr_carmelaj! Seeing her posts about her classes inspired me to take the class and she was the best partner!! I learned a lot, the people were super cool and can’t wait for the next one 🥊🥊
