Can I really speak on my journey to OBGYN and how only GOD got me here?!
•
Well to go from dreaming of becoming a doctor at 6 years old to becoming an OBGYN Graduate from The Morehouse School of Medicine, was truly a journey of resilience and dedication! I’ve overcome being a victim of sexual violence, living on an island and then being displaced by a hurricane, my own personal insecurities and struggles with imposter syndrome. But I’ve also had so many people in my corner who support and uplift me, determination to be the best person and doctor for myself and my patients, and a faith in God that surpasses all the trials that have led me here today!
•
My graduation was a culmination of all the positive things I have received from my residency program, which were an excellent education and foundation of knowledge that will equip me to be the best doctor for the people I will serve, an environment where I can be my most authentic self, and a FAMILY I will have for life. I want to send a special thank you to everyone who has been apart of my journey! Y’all made me Dr. Morris!!

And lastly, I just want you to know that if I can do it, YOU CAN TOO! You can accomplish your own personal dreams and goals no matter what you are put up against!

Today, we did a thing!

Once we found out we were pregnant, Vick told me we need to get a house. Every step of the way, we have prayed over our decisions. He has prayed over our family, our home, and our future and Today we were able to purchase our first home!!!
