Slowing down looked like this for me lately.

March was full… but God gave me moments to recenter and stay rooted in Him and true to myself.

1. Spending intentional time in the Word. I’ve been using a notepad for notes instead of putting everything in my journaling Bible

2. Learning that hosting might actually be my love language. I planned an Easter Soirée and loved every bit of it

3. Bought the husbae @ckbmgmt an NIV Application Bible and he LOVES it 🥹

4. Gifting my sisters in Christ brings me so much joy. Loved finding pieces at @thefrontporchofvinings

5. Found a new nail salon and I love it

6. Skin IQ will forever be my fave facial spot. Truly enjoyed it

7. Finding joy in reading as a way to connect with God. Almost done with Free of Me

8. Fell back in love with spoken word 🤍

9. Showered @jojo_ruthie with love with the ladies from small group

10. Loved being a panelist at @wearerestoredwomen. The worship and testimonies moved me deeply

11. The proof of my poetry book arrived… and yes, I’m bringing you all along the journey

12. God’s nature continues to amaze me

13. Found a local tea spot I’ll definitely be returning to

14. Attended @pcc_thegrove. Every time I see an olive tree, I’m reminded that Jesus is my why

These aren’t just photos.
They’re reminders.

There is joy, love, peace, and excitement when you follow Christ, surround yourself with godly community, and allow Him to truly heal you.

Y’all want some of the best OBGYN docs around? Come see us. These ladies are amazing and care so much for every patient. I have no doubt that God places you exactly where you are meant to be in life WHEN you are meant to be there. He’s right on time. Always. And when this door opened for me, I was so nervous about leaving the bedside, leaving a job I felt sooooo passionate about and loved doing for a job that was so different-same field of medicine but very different. Be faithful and patient. God will open the right door for you when it’s time. And sometimes closing those old doors really hurt. But trust me when the right one opens. How much of a crazy wild blessing it becomes and when I tell you the blessings I’ve felt in this role and the amount of joy I have in my job. I love it. The doctors, the nurses, the front office, the manager, the director, the patients. Everything has been perfectly placed and exactly where God wants me. Prayers answered for my family. God answers yours prayers. May not be when you want it. But he will.. Happy Sunday my friends

Cheers to 35 🥂 I’m still sick now, but the celebration will commence as soon as I’m well!

I’m so excited about what my 30s have been full of, and I’m sure scored to enter the second half with so much knowledge, so much joy and so much to look forward to! 🙌🏽
