Someone I admire recently reminded me of this, simple but powerful message….a good reminder to stop caring what other people might think; don’t let the fear of failure prevent you from doing the thing.

One thing I struggle with in the world of social media is consistency. Especially, as a photographer, creating for a platform that doesn’t even seem to support photos much anymore isn’t always something I have motivation to do. As many of you have noticed, I’ll often go months, sometimes even more than a year without posting. This isn’t a deliberate break or from lack of content to share. Photos are a passion of mine but social media is not. And for now, I don’t believe in forcing my creative process into that bottleneck.

So for those of you who stick around and always support the images I do share, thank you. I appreciate you. The support does not go unnoticed.

This is an image from earlier this summer, with my good friend @eye.of.ty where we stayed up all night shooting Astro. That night and this photo felt like a good reminder of why I love Astro photography. After not doing much of it last summer, this was an image I was excited to share as soon as I captured it.

That feeling and these kind of images are what I want to share more of in the future on social media. So even if my posts aren’t consistent, know the authenticity behind them is. Thanks for reading 🙂 taken in Colorado by @dr_linden

Going through Crested Butte withdrawals at this point in the summer…

This one is from the archives, not even sure it’s originally a raw file (pretty sure it’s a compressed jpeg straight from the DJI app lol) but I like it, so thought I’d share today.

Im learning not everything has to be a masterpiece for it to make it to social media. Has anyone else struggled with this concept? taken in Colorado by @dr_linden

Airglow| a faint emission of light by a planetary atmosphere. In the case of Earth’s atmosphere, this optical phenomenon causes the night sky never to be completely dark, even after the effects of starlight and diffused sunlight from the far side are removed.

One airglow mechanism is when an atom of nitrogen combines with an atom of oxygen to form a molecule of nitric oxide. In the process, a photon is emitted. 🤓 by @dr_linden
