Let me introduce myself, I am Dr. Xavier Cooper, I’m a Dallas Tx native and a chiro grad from Logan University. I been in practice coming up on 2 years in September! I can say this journey of chiropracTIC has been amazing, so many beautiful souls that I got to connect with and facilitate healing to! I’m so blessed to be in this position to reach many!

I wanted to reiterate my essence:

“The essence of what I see as the visual representation of my passion for chiropractic, comes from a point in my life that I felt hopeless to help someone I loved in need. My uncle, a strong figure in my life, was paralyzed from the neck down. After years of being paralyzed, he became depressed and eventually died. I can remember vividly the times I was with him and felt hopeless in being able to do anything to help his declining health. My passion for chiropractic care was influenced by the essence of hopelessness but also the experiences of physical miracles that I witnessed in other people’s lives throughout my journey as a chiropractic student. I vision a practice where people find a space where they can grow and evolve into better versions of themselves from just walking through the door. As chiropractors, we give people the opportunity to take charge of their health and ultimately give them back the power to live their daily lives pain-free.” by @dr_prolificx

Black men’s mental health matters. 🖤

We’re often taught to be strong, provide, protect, and push through but rarely taught that it’s okay to not be okay.

You can be strong and still need support. You can be a leader and still need healing. You can be the person everyone depends on and still deserve someone to lean on.

Let’s normalize vulnerability, prioritize healing, and remind Black men that they don’t have to suffer in silence.

We deserve more than survival. We deserve peace, too. 🖤

PART 2: What We Don’t See

Sometimes, we see someone experiencing homelessness, but we don’t see the trauma, loss, or circumstances that may have led them there.

Yesterday reminded me that behind every person is a story we may never know.

As a healthcare provider, I believe healing starts with compassion, not judgment. Before we judge someone’s situation, let’s remember their humanity.

You never know what someone has survived just to make it through another day. ❤️

Yesterday, I witnessed trauma in action. It reminded me that unhoused is more than the absence of a home; it’s also the weight of experiences many of us may never fully understand.

Sometimes, healing begins when we stop judging and start seeing the human being behind the circumstances.
