Updated list of contact information for kay ivey, Tommy tuberville, Kate Britt, and district 1-6 congressional representatives.

For those of you who want to directly call or email your elected officials to see what their responses are or to share concerns about literally any of the stuff we are seeing go on at a federal level, including but not limited to immigration policies, federal overreach, the national abortion ban, dei initiative, grant funding changes, or even the attempt to dismantle the Dept of education (HR899). Hell, you can even call your local mayors and inquire about their stance and demand they speak out too.
It is your right to question your representatives and demand they listen to your concerns as their constituent. by @drawnby_sam

Its not goodbye Alabama, it's see ya later.
We're Portland bound and will be there by the weekend. Drew, Remi, and I are taking it state by state and day by day.

This last coiples weeks have been so bittersweet. We've been overwhelmed by the presence and space our friends, family, and community has made to continuously share love, joy, warmth, and crying with us. Its so strange to imagine whats next when all ive known is Birmingham, but thats part of the fun of living.

We'll see yall around soon 💛💙

Thanks @allyhouseholder for the cutest lil departure pic. by @drawnby_sam

Heya! You may have seen some snippets about this sculpture I was making using a recycled spray paint can for @yonderwalls decks and cans show and fundraiser 👀

"aero-slay", mixed media felt and fiber sculpture.
it's available to be bid on until Friday evening at the link in my bio.

If you swipe you can see some of the shots taken from start to finish.

Thanks @rabbideaumedia for the professional shots of the finished piece and @thelittleredprintshop for the photo of the night of the show.

Hello friendos!
Drew and I have some big news!
I accepted a job offer in the PNW so..
WE'RE MOVING TO PORTLAND OREGON!

That means we'll be in hustling/ moving mode for the next month or so, so I'll try and be as responsive as I can around everything. I'll post any info on drop in days around bham to see us before we leave. 😁

While I love bham with my bones, it's all I've known, So I am excited for this next chapter. Here's to turning 30 in Portland this October. 💛

While you don't have to, if you wanna donate to our moving fund, you can. Between the drive, other logistics, and replacing furniture, we will be appreciative and won't say no.

#wip for @yonderwalls mural festival's DECKS & CANS fundraiser. Making a wire and felted hand/arm to hold the can, a base, and then a special attachment to create a sculptural interpretation of the canvas (spray paint can).

Here's a lil sneak peek at an attempt to fabric-ify this spray can while catching up on some commissions and cleaning this week. by @drawnby_sam

Today I helped install part of @canarygalleryllc 's upcoming show opening on the 18th, "Jaune in June".

I know you know Libby likes yellow and I do too, but now you'll absolutely see it everywhere in the gallery as the summer show will highlight art that has yellow in it- literally all but a few pieces have a shade from neon to pastel.⭐ It might be my favorite theme so far 👀😁💛

This week was an install heavy week between the trim tab/SBTT and Canary, so if it don't see me for a couple days-im recovering.

I'm excited for all the art I get to see this summer. Comment any exhibitions I should check out around bham over the next few months! by @drawnby_sam
