Did you know the Flower Queen is real? Trust me, I met her and I never lie (except when I backtracked about not being afraid of rats).

The Flower Queen isn’t entirely what you’d expect, however. Wherever she roamed, the most badass guitar solos would follow her. At least, that’s what I heard when I looked at her.

She’d leave trails of petals - positioned exactly how she wanted them.
Placed with such control and precision, to appear entirely carefree. (Don’t move them, ok)

Her skin kissed with vanilla oils, and her hair swirled and curled into a million coils.

The Flower Queen was always working. You’d take out a glass to pour yourself a drink, and when you turned around the glass would be put away again.

To tire her would be a mistake, for her wrath is more than even I could take (and you know I’m very strong, guys).

She was sweeeeeet and FIERCE, and my soul her eyes pierced. She was funny and smart, she melted my ego and heart.

She’d make some of the absolute wildest statements I’d ever heard in my entire life, and they were all obviously 100% correct and if I were a smarter man I’d have known that right away 🥰

But most importantly of all, the Flower Queen was a friend to me. She taught me so many things I needed to learn. Things I wish I knew before. My only hope is that the Flower Queen is continuing to blossom and blessing the world with her magical talents, her pureness of heart and that she gets to laugh every single day. by @drawntosean

Happy Mother’s Day 🍋

I know you’ll never see this, I just want to celebrate you anyway.

I hope today is filled with a thousand smiles and awws for you. I hope you wake up to sunshine, hugs and heartfelt gifts. I hope you get to rest today (and actuallyyy do it- don’t just switch to job number 13), that you get to enjoy the tastiest food and make so many wonderful memories.

And even if it’s the greyest, coldest, rainiest day ever, your smile will brighten it up and your energy will warm everyone.

There’s so much more I’d like to say, but I’m writing this on the train to work and can’t cry or people will find out I’m not actually as cool and super badass as they think (which they definitely all think).

So I’ll leave it with, thank you for letting me experience just how amazing a parent can be. You made it look soooooo easy, when it really, really wasn’t.. They really are the luckiest kids in the world to have you as their mom and I’m equally lucky that I got to be a part of it and learn so much from all of you.

Thank you for putting up with me, for making me laugh and for always pushing me to be better. I hope today is as special as you are 🌻

Today is the first day of our Cosy Cauldron challenge 👻 I’ve been looking forward to getting into that spooky feeling, so I’m so excited to be hosting and getting to support all your lovely entries 🥰

This week’s prompt is “The Spooky Swamp” and as you can see, I’ve drawn a VERY spooky ghost

“But Seán, why is he fishing all alone? We’re asking you cause you always have all the answers”

Cause he’s got no-body (I’m sorry 🥲)

Deep within the shrouded woods, lies a forgotten grove and its unnourished buds.

A place for critters who have lost their way, with “no pep in their step” or a place they can play.

It is said there’s a girl who brings forth the light, a princess so brave, she’s not afraid of the night.

With a wand in her hand, she travels the land. Spreading kindness and forgiveness, and um… and…

Upon seeking her goal, her wand will be waved. And the peaking, dim souls will glow and be saved.

No one knows how or from where her magic stems… maybe a fort in her room - I mean a cave filled with gems!

But forever her light and her warmth will be seen, (they say the lantern that guides her, was a gift from the Flower Queen). by @drawntosean

Here we see DrawntoSean has illustrated a bear in its natural environment, the park, pursued by its most notorious predator, a small child’s football.

The bear was caught off guard while trying to repeat a joke seen in one of Seán’s earlier reels (that’s just lazy) and didn’t have enough time to move his paws to catch the ball. Seán had finished his Ultra Rosá Monster by this point and felt the effort to draw the bear’s paws moving was too great.

In a moment of pure genius, he decided it was more effective for the bear to catch the ball with his face. Children’s book authors commended his creativity and began sending offers immediately.

The end 🤗

Disclosure, no footballs were harmed in the making of this drawing 🫶 by @drawntosean

I’m thinking I should start describing these posts with keywords to see if that pushes them any differently 🤔 Let’s trial it! 🤗

This is my drawing of Link from The Legend of Zelda video game series by Nintendo. Next to Link is his fairy Navi and in some slides I’ve drawn the Majora’s Mask for him to spook it up.

Oh look that moon is pretty grumpy. by @drawntosean

Hmm hmm hmmmmm, I noticed a slight transition with the last reel of this that apparently more followers were suggested it than the last one. So guys and lovely ladies, I’m leaning more towards prioritising reels. I’ve yet to notice the benefit of doing both a reel and post, with the exception of the posts getting more comments. BUT, going by the last reel, I feel like with time the gap will start to fill between them and you’ll start seeing the reels by default instead of the posts 🤔

Hmm hmm hmmmmmmm….

Disabling comments on this one, cause I feel like more of you saw the reel of this compared to the others and don’t want people feeling burned out with commenting 🫶 Appreciate any reposts and shares though and yes I do the same back when you do them, cause I’m that petty - I mean mutually supportive 🥰
