I felt like doing two art challenges tonight and giving the piece a Halloween twist!
Igranka, who is from planet Albireo 7, is learning how to make earth Jack-o-Lanterns now that Halloween is right around the corner. She made hers smile, because she didn’t want it to look too scary for her - and it’s making this stoic girl who usually doesn’t grin much smile too. 🎃

This drawing was inspired by the themes “leaves / Jack-o-lanterns” from the #fallfriendsartchallenge I’m cohosting, and “crisp air and cozy moments” from #selftember2026 - or rather, Selftober now. 😂

Once upon a time, there was a lonely little ghost who longed for someone to haunt. Or not even haunt, he could be a helpful ghost! He could put lost keys back where they belong or pair up stray socks. Even though such behavior is frowned upon in the ghost community… He didn’t understand why no one wanted to live in his cabin. It was quite large and cozy and well situated on the edge of the forest. Could it be that the hut itself is cursed?
This is my second entry for The Cursed Cosy Cabin from our Cosy Cauldron challenge! Is this the same cabin but painted black? Yes it is! But the story is completely different and I just couldn’t resisr.

All in all it’s a very lovely little hut. So what if it’s haunted? The rent is nothing, the porch is really nice and the ghost isn’t such a bad roommate - honestly, one of the best Bunny has ever had. He might be a bit shy and prone to long staring without saying a word, but he does a great job of chasing away any unwanted guests. Also he’s really good at Scrabble.

I’m trying to finally get my September challenges done especially because we’re almost over halfway through October! 😱
This is my third #selftember2026 participation inspired by the themes “golden leaves and warm drinks.” And since I just drew Jaylana I wanted to draw Alenka again - Jaylana made her a cup of hot coffee with latte art, and Alenka’s enjoying it as she admires the gorgeous leaves outside.

This little cat is doing her very best to bring her fish back to life. Not out of heartbreak, but because she’s still hoping for dinner 🤭

I had so much fun creating this piece and weaving together a few spooky prompt lists:
🖤 Purranormal Activity for the #FelineSpookyChallenge
🧡 Spirits & Spells for #ScaryAndSweet2026
🤎 And a little nod to The Pet-Trifying Cemetery from #CosyCauldron2026 with the dearly departed fish returning in spirit from its bowl.

A little spooky, a little sweet, and a little bit silly, just the way I like it. A big thank you to all the lovely hosts for these magical challenges! (See first post)

Week 2: Pet-trifying Cemetery 🪦🌿 #cosycauldron2026
📕Nexa is reading her book in her safe place, the little old cemetery for the animals of her village, Rio Verde.
Meanwhile, her friend Otis the heron is out soaring through the skies, stretching his wings.

Ita:
Nexa sta leggendo il suo libro nel suo spazio sicuro, il piccolo e antico cimitero degli animaletti del suo paese, Rio Verde. Nel frattempo il suo amico Airone Otis è in giro per i cieli a sgranchirsi le ali.

If you want to follow Nexa’s story, follow the challenge, it’s all about her!

Hey everyone! 🧡

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately! I’ve been busy with a project which I’ll definitely share once finished.

I couldn’t let our fabulous challenge pass without joining in for at least one prompt, so here’s my take on The Cursed Cosy Cabin! 🏡🐓

Naturally, my mind went straight to Baba Yaga’s hut on chicken legs. Technically, it’s more magical than cursed, but a house with poultry attachments felt suitably suspicious. 😂

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind one myself. Beach one day, snowy mountains the next—all without packing a suitcase or leaving my cosy little home.

Here’s how you can join in!

🧙‍♀️🎃 COSY CAULDRON 2026 🎃🧙‍♀️

Where the swamps are spooky, the cemeteries have pets, the cabins are cursed, and the theatre… well, let’s just say you might want to check what’s behind the curtain. 👀🎭🙈

Another spooky art challenge! This one I actually started a while ago, as I didn't know if I would have time, so I was planning ahead. Then I got so into it and couldn't put my pencil down 😂

Cosy Cauldron 2026
Pet-trifying Cemetery

Here is the next prompt for my October challenge. I really had fun with making this one. Fanney and Kisi encounter some terrifying ghosts at the pet cemetery, or are they just looking for cuddles?

I have made more art 🎨😁 This is for both @outland.no #outlanddrawtober and their newest prompt "Vampire" and it's also for #cosycauldron #cosycauldron2026 and the prompt "The Pet-trifying Cemetery". My idea here was to draw a cemetery with trees, a lamp post, a church in the background and headstones and then add a vampire and then interpretate the pet-part to be a ghost cat added in. I sometimes find having full control of the colors a little hard with Gouache, but I still think this looks cool.
