Nobody clapped when I said I studied agriculture. 😂

I was so ashamed 😂🤦

But that same course I was ashamed of? It built my business.
This is how I went from hiding my agric degree to building @tquart_foods and why they now call me DrBeans. 🫘
Watch till the end.

Share this with that brother or sister studying agric so they know how valuable they are. 💚

You don’t have to leave Nigeria to miss home. 🥹
One person misses Ekuru, and she’s still in Nigeria. Another misses Okpa. A customer’s friend in the US drove for hours for Ewa Aganyin, when she would have preferred homemade.
Same crop, different home. Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, every home has its own beans.
The boxes aren’t ready yet, but you can watch me build them, mistakes included.
What bean dish did your grandmother make that nobody outside your tribe knows? Teach me.

Someone asked me, “Dr Beans, why do you care so much about beans?” 😅
I took it as a compliment. 3am wake-ups, basins on our heads, firewood (yes, firewood!), and a queue that never waited for anybody.
I didn’t just grow up around beans. I grew up inside beans.

Day 3 is where it all began. Watch till the end, and tell me in the comments:
Akara, moin moin, ekuru, ewa agoyin, adalu, or rice and beans. Which one do you miss?

Yesterday I said you’d see the factory, the team, the mistakes, the wins. Then I remembered... I forgot the farm! 😅
Here’s why it matters. A customer in the US called me about beans that smelled of chemicals. They weren’t from us, but I still helped, because I want Nigerians to be safe with beans, whoever sells them.
Trust in food starts from the farm.
#Day 2 of rebuilding Tquart as The Beans Republic. Come with me. 🇳🇬

Have you ever bought beans that didn’t smell right? 👇🏾
