We had the best weekend in #Yosemite. 20 miles of hikes across North Dome and up to Vernal and Nevada Falls. It is quiet and pristine and restorative.
Also, apparently the pro-tip if you don’t have school-age kids is to come the weekend after schools start again at the end of summer. Light crowds, adequate parking, open trails.

A fever dream.

Our euphoric weekend in the desert was beyond anything we imagined or can describe. You can plan every detail of the music and the flowers - and still be completely blind-sided by the overwhelming love of the very best people on God’s green earth. The tears and laughter, all-encompassing joy, and the deep embrace of the long journey to ourselves.

Words fail us.
Our cup is full, overflowing.

I am a die-hard #windowseat guy. I was lucky to see the #NorthernLights in Iceland, but only green. My friend @nomadlaura was the first person I knew who had seen them from the air and it’s been a dream ever since. Our pilot alerted the passengers to the faint pink haze on the left side of the plane. The pink lights are a lot less common to see and this was so awesome. I took photos for my entire row, happily. What a world, what a world. Science is rad. by @drdanielginn

#LaSagradaFamilia has been under construction for 143 years, finally in the home stretch, allegedly for completion in 2026. Outside and, especially, inside, it is unlike any structure or building I have ever seen anywhere in the world. Every surface carries meaning, nothing is unintentional. When I last visited 12 years ago, the 6 tallest towers had not been built. There are still 4 more to go on the entry facade. Near the edge of the Sahara Desert is #AÏtBenHaddou, an incredible #kasbah village near #Ouarzazate.
